Must be one hell of a short read. Got to be some of the most cringe worthy fans around as well.

Thanks to noods I see them all as faceless:nervous:

Suck it, bitches...is what we're currently singing.

As long as it doesn't involve Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnnnnnnuuuuuuuuulllllllllll, it's an improvement.

Their away lot seem to have a few more, which is understandable as most clubs have a shit home chant book. Even ours can come across as crap on the TV, and even in the ground bar ST2, old K-Stand and tiny pockets dotted around.

It was the timing of the 'greatest side the world has ever seen' that made me laugh, just after Barca had completed about 50 passes and were 1-0 up.

Oh today is a thread about our chants... what will it be tomorrow?

I think the caf should open a section just for Arsenal.

I don't know what the obsession with chants is on this website - all anybody hears from Old Trafford is "yoo-nite-ED! yoo-nite-ED! rue-nayyy! rue-nayyy!"

You think their is an obsession with chants on here?

It's mild on here compared to other United forums.

We've got the biggest songbook in the league.

Only Liverpool and Newcastle to a smaller degree can compete.

To be fair there are a few more and they are actually pretty decent i.e the calypso.

I hate to say it but I struggle to think of a southern club with a decent and unique chant. We all just sing out the same old tunes with varying levels of gay interchangeable lyrics.

really? They've got some awful shite - not least the cringeworthy "Fields of..." that they nicked from Celtic. At least Celtic have some flimsy "cultural" connection with the song. Also, the two-tone Liverpool, Liverpool that they nicked from Yurrop.

Chelsea have to b e the worst and I don't even think I need to elaborate.

I like how Martin Tyler thought the "we got Cesc Fabregas" was a special one off chant for the night directed at the Barcelona fans. Its not Martin, they sing it every game.

Am I the only one who finds "U N I - T E D, United are the team for me" chant rather stupid?

They do have a shite songbook, just like Chelsea.

I know our support at OT at times can be a little muted but we do have a good variety of songs to sing from.

I'm always disappointed by the Newcastle fans when it comes to singing...they've got their Blaydon Races song and the Georrrrrdies Georrrrrdies Georrrrrdies (repeat x10) but overall its crap at SJP...totally different story away though.

The powers that be at SJP have decided for next season to extend the family section and away section (4000 of you buggers will be able to come to the sunny North East next season) into the area now occupied by the singing section so it will either disband or move.

On the subject of Arsenal fans, I thought they were crap at Leeds and even worse at SJP this season.
