I like the idea of a 'clean' general forum, but I don't like that google has the ability to shut us down based on content that it feels is in appropriate.
I agree the NSFW content is not good, but what if, in future they decide some of the discussion in the CE forum is inappropriate, or something similar?

I hope Nialls considered the full implications of doing this during the summer holidays.

The General 2 - with a clean slate so all new content can be moderated fully without a backlog of breasts and asses to sieve through.
I may well do that, right now I'm fighting this Google fire and getting ads back running is my priority.

Does Google Adsense do this with every forum out there, I've been on far worse forums with more than the bit of light nudity you find in the gen. What's next, harsh language?

)Well if they don't do Google Ads, your other forums would be unaffected. Alternately, if they do, it's possible that the traffic is much lighter than that of the Caf, so they go unnoticed.

Yep. There would have to be some sort of system whereby the larger (and most likely classic) threads could be saved. These few worthy threads could then be vetted for inappropriate content.
Losing all the threads would be a terrible shame. Would rip the heart of the Caf.
