Feels like it's been ages since we've played at home. Let's smash these cnuts. Just please no 3-5-2!

    Rafael Smalling Evans Shaw
    Carrick
    Rooney Herrera Mata
    Van Persie Di Maria
Kind of like how we finished the game today, with RvP in for Wilson, Carrick for Fletcher and the fullbacks in. Maybe Jones in for Evans, neither have been good but I reckon Evans will play as he's more 2 footed. Put Rojo in for Evans and this is probably what I'd have as our strongest 11, or very close to it. Don't think we've even played it before this season.

Edit: Shaw and Rafael injured. feck. Jones right back and Blackett left back then? Shaw's injury might have just been him being a bit dazed from the clash of heads from earlier on though, hopefully just that. Should be fine if it was.

Smalling or Jones at RB? Blacket at LB?

What a mess this could be. Be worried about this one.

I think LVG will play something like:

    De Gea
    Jones Smalling Evans
    Carrick
    Lingard Herrera Rooney Blackett
    Di Maria
    RVP Falcao

this could be a big possibility. maybe valencia is going to be fit though? surely lingard is not going to thrown out straight away after being about 4 months out injured.

Shaw could be available for this, Rafael won't :(

Will be interesting to see who will play RB, McNair most likely? Maybe we can sign someone this week

Fancy, LVG may go for this one. I am assuming that Rojo will have a week to get back into contention. If not I think Evans will get back in. The four in the middle may be a diamond

    DDG
    Jones Smalling Rojo
    Mata Herrera Carrick ADM
    Rooney RVP Falcao

Probably Jones, and then Blackett at left back if Shaw is injured.

It's really awful and you just know with Smalling, Jones and Evans all together on the pitch, one of them will injure himself in this game.

Let's hope we make a signing in the meantime then! We really need a fullback soon.

Just mentioned on another thread I think it'll have to be four at the back assuming Valencia is out. Jones at right back which isn't ideal and Blackett at left back, unless one of Blind or Rojo are fit to play there. The only way I can see it possibly being three at the back next week is if Valencia and Blind are both fit to start which seems very unlikely.

Who is going to counter attack them now? Di Maria that's it? No pace in this team with the crocked players we have.

Seriously think they'll dominate us at OT after that shit today.

Don't think van Gaal would even start Rojo or Blind if they were fit, he's eased the players back in after injuries this season.

There's an U-21 game on Friday, so if they are fit they might get a run out in that, can't imagine he would throw them straight in against Southampton. At least Carrick has had a rest today.

You're most likely right. Certainly not Blind as he's been out longer. He might through Rojo in if he has to like he did with Jones against Liverpool.

So apparently LVG said in a presser after Yeovil that Shaw (ankle) and Rafael (fractured cheek bone) are injured.. well this is fecking great considering the match against Southampton is massive for us to start in third.
