It really depends on which Arsenal team shows up.
The Arsenal against Liverpool we'll smash 'em 0-1.
The Arsenal against Tottenham we'll probably lose by a couple of goals.

One thing is for certain Mourinho will have the team fired up. He doesn't like the concept of losing to Wenger teams.

Hope the ref isn't a homer. Granite Chucker will guaranteed go hacking on Pogba and Martial and draw two yellows.

Would be monumental if we win.
Can't even remember the last time we scored against a big team away from home.

Could be difficult with Ozil in between the lines instead of Will Hughes and Ramsey as the b2b instead of Doucouré. They ripped Everton apart with both teams playing something like 3-4-3. It was Everton but still.

    Valencia--------------------------Young
    -----------Matic---------Pogba---------
    Lingard-------------------------Martial
    -----------------Lukaku-----------------

SUBS - Zlatan (Lukaku), Herrera (Matic), Rashford (Lingard)

This has a disappointing game written all over it, for me. Not expecting us to be particularly attacking which will be frustrating as like Liverpool, Arsenals defence is there to be got at.

    Arsenal 0 - 0 Man United

RED CARD - Marcos Rojo or Granit Xhaka, possibly both.

Lingard wont be able to handle it. Jose keeps playing with this 352 when he is scared. I doubt that it will work. He will park it and we all know how it ends : A boring 1-0 loss.

No news on Matic,Fellaini, Bailly and Jones?
A very important game for us, unfortunately we can't play on a draw here based on the derby game comes next and we want things still close to city so hopefully Jose fires the players for it and they will be more than ready.
    Play 5-3-2 and start Martial.

Will people stop with the 5-3-2 already! Valencia and Young are wingers playing as wingbacks, while Bellerín and Kolasinać are fullbacks playing as wingbacks in Arsenal's, er… so, 5-2-3?

Its' getting to this, that Herrera could soon find himself below McTominay in the pecking order. He would fit in at West Ham at the moment, everytime he comes on, we start struggling or conceding. Even Jose hinted as much.

Such a shame. I was looking forward to beating Arsenal with our three at the back system, but without Matic, it could get ugly. No Laca is a blessing I suppose.

We just have to win this game and follow it up with a win against the noisy neighbours next weekend. They celebrated last night as if they had won the League already. When Sterling scored that goal in the 90th minute I could not believe the celebrations. Redmond should have smacked pep one, in the nose.

This would be my first time attending United game!! Finally!!!!!!
My friend got me a ticket, but I'm worried since we will be sitting together on Arsenal stands, not away side stands.
Would it be okay to wear United jersey?
or should I just keep quiet the whole game?

Also, I'm trying to get United v City game for 12/10. Where would be the best bet to buy one?
I can wait all night long at ticket booth, if thats where I can get one.

United is strong against Arsenal. I'm going for 0-3 United.
Not sure if you're joking but definitely don't wear a United shirt in the Arsenal end. You'll get thrown out.

Also definitely keep quiet. They're not the most intense supporters at the Emirates but you'll still get a lot of crap if you do celebrate, etc.

As for the City game, you can probably find some online but they'll be very expensive.

I'd keep Lindelof in the team. He's playing with confidence and there's no reason to drop him now. Plus we will probably play with 3 at the back and he is perfect in that system because he will play out from the back and be like an extra man in midfieldd. The team should stay unchanged from the Watford game and the only real question is whether Matic can be fit. If he isn't ready then start Fellaini.

    Subs: Ibra, Rashford, Herrera.

I hope this is the team and subs that are used on Saturday. I like Bailly there to cover up Valencia on Sanchez and Rojo because of Young's intendency to get caught up top when attacking.

Although Herrera is in poor form, I feel he's more adapted to our game against Arsenal than Fellaini, he should start if Matić is really injured. I was surprised by how lightly Mourinho mentioned his injury, I suppose he was so happy and surprised by the Watford game he couldn't care at that moment…

Are you serious? You'll get thrown out of a game for wearing a shirt that has the other team on it?

That's utterly ridiculous. Is that a common thing in England?

At US sporting events you see shirts/jerseys of both teams scattered everywhere throughout the stadium.

You might not get thrown out - but it's just not the done thing over here.

In a big game like that, it's better (if you're in the opposition end) to not wear colours, keep quiet and don't celebrate if your team scores.

That's just the way it is. Our tribalism is deep-rooted and can always get ugly - even in a sedate atmosphere like the Emirates.

Many people on here will have a story to tell about being in the opposition end in a huge game - and wearing colours etc...are simply a no-no if you want to watch 90 minutes.

They're going to be buzzing after last night, and confident that we're gonna sit deep and they can nick a goal or two. If Jose goes full-on defensive, we'll lose this, guaranteed.

I remember a Wolves fan sitting in the home end at OT. He celebrated a goal and had to be escorted out of OT for his own safety as he was about to get beaten up
So no United kit, and do not celebrate if we score.

    Pace.

I will play Lukaku, Martial, Rashford, Lingard. That's crazy speed there. The gunners will attack. You can be sure of that. We just need to be tight at the back and hit back hard on the counter all the time. We should take this if we go out to play.

Same lineup as Watford? Martial has to start again, like the thought of him against that arsenal defence.

Pretty disappointed people don't want Lingard to start as #10, after his last night performance. I know he's inconsistent, but…
We need Lingard's pace and off the ball runnings in this game. I don't want to see Miki or Mata in the starting 11 at all.

It’s a culture shock for someone from North America, at least it was for me.

I wore a Rooney shirt in central London during the game against Scotland. I was shoved around at the pub by the Scots. They told me something like “English aren’t welcome here”.

Lingard isn't really that quick tbh. But I agree that he deserves a spot more than Mata or Mkhitaryan.

Almost guaranteed to be 3 at the back, so probably almost the same line up as was used against Watford sans Matic (injured) and I'd guess Rashford starts in lieu of Martial. I'd keep Lingard as the CM as he was excellent last time out and neither Mata nor Mhiki currently offer anything better.

Interested to hear from Jose in the pre-match press conference if Matic is going to play or not; I think not. Since we have zero cover for him at that position, so the real question will be who gets slotted in there? I'd guess Herrera, even though he isn't a DM but we really have no other options.
