A left footed forward scores Rashfords chance 10/10.

We've been the better team. Swap the wingers around and Give Martial a go at Cedric.

If Rashford was on the left he stroke that first time with his right foot. Playing him on the right is the dumbest move Ole has done.
Any shot with any foot from such position is 90 % goal.

It's stupid he didn't try his luck.

Rashfords been good IMO. Getting into dangerous positions. That chance was just unlucky, came slightly behind him so he had to take the touch and they already crowded him out. He held on to the ball and looked for an opening. Best thing would've been to try a backheel maybe but it's a tough one that, despite being close.

Really don't know what to make of this game. A draw suits neither team. We are struggling with that killer ball into the box.

For a player who is always moving and quite often free... It's amazing how little of the ball Cavani gets.

Rashford on the right. Its just silly. Why do all our managers post SAF make the strangest fecking decisions.

Mctom having the shits maybe a blessing been much better Pogba back in midfield. This game is there for the lads if they want it. I got few quid on 0-2. I'd take just 1 nil to Utd. Feck the stake money.

I think we've been the better team out there so it's disappointing that we're going in at 0-0. We had a nice period there towards the end of half. Frustrating that Rashford couldn't get a shot away. If the second half is similar I can only see a draw or win for us. Ideally we improve. The enforced change may help us be more attacking.

Wan Bissaka is getting into better positions in the box than Marcus. The couple of times Marcus did find himself in space, made bad decisions.

I guess he is not enjoying the right!

The only thing Rashford could have done differently was hit it on his left first time, which would have been a bit of a swinger. He then did well to fake out Martinelli, and probably just didn't expect Leno to be out so quickly... Probably because he trains against De Gea day in day out.

Reading this place though you'd think he missed an open bloody goal.
Correct. The defender/keeper did well, after he decided not to go first time with the left, the shot was never on. Of course he could have just hit the shot straight into the defender, I’m sure everyone would have been much happier.

In fairness the dumbest is how we are set up to defend set pieces which is a joke. He is in fairness an option on the right and is fairly adaptable unlike Martial. Although they should try swapping them round just to see if the Frenchman might do something there. But this is why we were after Sancho. We don't produce enough on the right hand side, mainly because Wan Bissaka hasn't a clue in forward positions.

    You're trolling?
He literally has zero chance of getting a shot off there.. he wasnt gonna score with his first touch ans after that he was completely closed down.. i get the fusteration at rashford of late but people need to be logical at what they get upset over.. i think rashy did well there to keep the play alive. There was no shot.

It's poor decision making, that close to the goal with that many players there's no way in hell you're going to have time on the ball....First touch should've been a shot, from that distance it doesn't have to be a wonderful hit in order for it to be a goal
Should have shot on the left first time sure but he's seemingly not comfortable on his left unless it's perfectly layed on for him/set up by himself... Noticed it a lot lately when he's been on the right,he very rarely shoots first time on his left.

This has been like deciding to go to a strip club only to get there and they're all older than your mum. Disappointing but you stay as you have nothing better to do.

Was screaming at Rashford watching it at full speed but watching the replays it's a bit more understandable.

We need to shake up our forward line in the summer. Whether that’s a right winger, centre forward or left winger, I don’t care. We need something different to this gash.
We need a right winger. Sancho alone and this is a different direction for our attacking play. Rashford should be on the left perhaps competing with Martial as he's out of form via the middle.

McTominay played really well, and Pogba looked dangrous in and around the box, so not sure I agree with that.

We look incredibly passive, and have looked that way for a few weeks now.
Disagree tbh, we've completely controlled the game and have gotten a good chunk of chances too. They've done nothing but shots from distance.

What concerns me is that City look like they know they are in a race for the title. We don't. We have the intensity of a midtable team with nothing to play for.

Nigel De Jong might actually be the worst pundit out of the lot of them, which is really saying something.

Arsenal with a little over 30% possession and hoping to create on the counter attack. United need to make better use of their possession 2nd half but won't be easy to breach such a defensive Arsenal team.

    Just hit it Rashy

We are missing attacking skill down the right as usual. We have to address this in the summer. I first team RW and an attacking option at RB. I'm convinced our goal output would increase dramatically!

Both teams started the game looking more scared to lose than trying to win, but when Pogba moved central we definitely got a bigger foothold in the game progressively as opposed to just having possession for possessions sake. Shaw and AWB have looked our 2 most dangerous attackers though and I'm surprised Martial got the nod over Mason.

Not at all, the shot on his left first time was certainly on but tricky... Where else should he have shot?
There are a million things he could have done but having a shot is the very least. He could have took it first time with his left, attacked it and went with his right. He could have even took it across his body and took it on his right. Even when he drags it back he doesn't take the opportunity to hit it goal-ward. It was AWFUL.
