I think you have your priorities all mixed up. I'd get your idea if we are in direct competition with Barca but we ain't. We are minnows, we need to climb a long way to even process stuff like that.
You are deluded my friend, sorry to say this. We'll be playing EL next season
We're minnows, so we should continue to act like minnows? You're not making any sense.

This is the inherent advantage Barca have.
    1. They buy expensive flashy players
    2. Kids grow up idolizing those players
    3. Those same kids become professional players and then want to be like their idols so they think a move to Barca is the only way to achieve that

Then you want to make it to another advantage is given to them by allowing them to sell off any bad buy on their part so they can do a repeat of the 3 steps I just gave. De Ligt is the perfect example. You don't think Dutch players gravitate towards Barca because of what I just said? United need to stop that cycle and compete for those same talents otherwise it becomes a hole to big to climb out of (short of the Saudi's buying up United).

Sanchez actually did more in those 5 minutes more than our lazy boy Martial.

    Here, there, everywhere...
And we sold Blind to them. Ball playing defender because Jones is better
List of some of the stupidest decisions in the last 6 years:

    - Bought Fellaini for 4m more than his release clause on deadline day.
    - Dithered on Herrera and had the whole drama with the 3 lawyers (or whoever they were) showing up at the Spanish FA
    - Bid for every midfielder on the planet from De Rossi to Khedira on deadline day
    - Sold Welbeck and Zaha and bought Depay
    - Paid Nani to play for Sporting in a deal to bring in Rojo.
    - Let Evans go who was a better ball playing defender
    - Bought di Maria for 16m more than what he was available to PSG for a little earlier in the summer.
    - Sold di Maria for a loss after one season
    - Paid 6m for loaning a crocked Falcao
    - Sold Blind while at the same time gave Rojo a new contract
    - Let fecking Fellaini take us to the cleaners for a new contract.
    - Handed wew contracts to Young & Jones
    - Contracts for Herrera and Mata are pending on the table.

I am sure there are many more that I am missing.

If that's being outplayed then sure. btw they didn't really create anything until martial and lingard went off. but yeah they outplayed us.
If you win a game like that then you’ve outplayed the opposition

    Keep living in dreamland

They have no idea because they are the problem. I don't understand why they haven't implemented a proper structure though. They are ruining their own business.
Indeed, but the money is still flowing in and they will continue with running the club into the ground. We will all look forward to a '' big" summer, but it will be another lackluster chasing big names that will never come.

Value is there in the market. Pool got Robertson for peanuts and sane for a great price, but Woody will chase bale and boast about our app.

Barca deserved to go through, however the scoreline was extremely flattering to them today.

    Disappointing performance but correct result.

I’d happily trade our lot for theirs at this point.
They are not as raw as we think, they have two players rated at £75 million, do we ??

After those two, there are a few at £25 and £35 million, not really the team of nobodies some suggest.

But effort and style is a long way from what we are used to seeing.

Yes because how many teams have gone to PSG and scored three goals, regardless of whether they're gifted or not?

We gifted Barcelona two goals tonight. You have to score them and we did that.

We have been hard to beat under Ole and have countered well. Teams would have been fearing that whether you think so or not.
:lol:. Yes, our bus at OT really scared Watford and west Ham. Thst much that they went in full attacking mode. At OT. Against Man Utd.

You know how we look at teams like Porto and Ajax as the weak teams we'd love to draw in the CL? Well I'll let you in to a secret. That's how the elite teams of Europe look at us. Barcelona would have been over the fecking moon to draw us. They'll have been even happier that we fluked our way past PSG

None of his decisions are wierd. Young is shite but every manager would have picked experience over Dalot here.

If he continues to start Young next season. Im willing to believe he just doesnt trust any of the other options and wants Dalot to bed in slowly. If Young starts games next season then we have major problems.
It's not so much Young. Dalot is inexperienced i get it.

It's with Lingard playing as a key player in the 10 position. I don't know what he's thinking, he's useless. We can't have someone with as low an output as him there.

Been saying all along Sanchez/Lukaku should have started. Rashford/ Lingard/Martial been completely shit yet Ole persists with them.

We're a very poor team with a manager who unfortunately is way out of his depth.

Bought Fred and Dalot and then rested then for half a season

Started well, but the second goal killed it. After that Barca passed it around mainly to keep the ball and we struggled to stop them.

Rio saying Rashford, Dalot and Lingard need to learn from this.

Why the feck do people think Lingard is some young player?
