Shaw with those breaking lines passes, he looks like Licha specimen. Absolutely good game from him. The elimination of Maguire from the defence has been simple yet every effective to our play.

Get a proper goal scorer and we‘d be putting teams away again. We create enough chances just so poor conversion wise.

Really something that we can choose between Martial and Werghorst as who to start up front, at least Wout is what he is but lazy joggin zero aggression Martial is another level of incompetence up front and he's got many of those sloppy games in possession too. Really useless at hold up play and any finishing today..

Player with some pressing ability would today give us three 4 good chances to score easy goal, yet he's joggin around with zero acceleration.
Martial off Rashford through middle. Sabitxwr
They aren't going to be in the CL and he'll never win anything at Spurs. If he wants to be remembered as the best player in England to never win a trophy then he stays at Spurs.
He wants big titles not just Champs League. And we arent guaranteed that yet. Even if there was the remotest chance he was interested, Levy would make it financially impossible

You must be out of your mind to want to get rid of one of the best left wingers in the world.
Except Marcus isn't a left winger, something he's never been. He's a left forward and has come into his own this year totally.

Selling RVN and going all in with Ronaldo was a ballsy move, but that's the type of insight and belief that takes massive balls and massive talent. If it's great for the team and greater than the individual, they'd consider it.

Good game to watch, Utd countering well, should be ahead.

I will start crying about Casemiro's harsh treatment by refs when he stops diving in multiple times a game.

He hasn't got many years left on his contract no? There's a danger Kane leaves on a free.

Macalister would be a perfect fit for us as 8. That fetus playing as CAM for brighton is no joke. Mitoma is skillful but inconsistent wasteful. Macalister is the player we need. Caicedo playing out of position but I would be all over for a swap for McT or even Fred.

No matter how good a chance it looks like we may have to score I just know we are somehow gonna mess it up. One on ones, counter attacks, it doesn’t matter. We literally. always make the wrong decision. Could’ve scored 4 in that first half with someone clinical.

I mean, the club employ several people full time to know this stuff. If they can't find anyone else...
im not one of the biggest clubs in the world employing a massive scouting network and a team of people who can negotiate deals with clubs around the world. But i expect there are more than 2 possible names in the entire damn world we can bring in.
There are hardly any good strikers in the world currently and this is clear by actually looking at goal numbers across various leagues. Scouts don't magically find a 30-goal striker. The scouts should be looking for a young striker to be an understudy and grow like City did with Alvarez, not to be our 1st choice striker next season. With your ways of thinking forget any hope of challenging for a title.

We've played well but our best players are letting us down. Rashford and Casemiro have been really poor.

Sky sports have been so weird. Player bodycam for Brighton, talking as if Brighton have dominated, it's strange

We were clean through on their goalie 3 times and fluffled all 3 chances. We need to be more clinical in the final 3rd. All their shots were from outside the box. If we can keep making chances and bury them, then we could be comfortable with the 3 points tonight.

But my GOD do we need a centre forward. It's the missing piece in the jigsaw. Put Kane or Oshimen clean through 3 times and they don't miss these opportunities.

Tottenham don't really have a choice other than sell. They will play games in the summer, but will end up taking 70-80m by the end. They cannot afford to allow a player like Kane to just leave for free.

Manutd have a much bigger chance of winning competitions than Tottenham, though. Only City is a guarantee for the league, but it is better to up your chances than stay at Tottenham.

I'm not saying bin him off, because he's a good player, but I don't think he's the level of player that we should always be taking into account when considering ways to improve the team as a whole, if that makes sense? Like if we think the team as a whole improves significantly with a particular player, but Rashford might not mesh well with them, we shouldn't put who he would have chemistry with over who would be better for the team as a whole.
Yes yes. I think that's where we have missed Garnacho so much. Garnacho is a totally different threat from Marcus, but they are both highly direct. So Garnacho coming off the left, Marcus through the center, with Bruno behind or Eriksen...that's where the difference was pre-WC.

Garnacho is a game changer off the bench even if he doesn't always score.

Actually think our attack has looked sharp and slick when we've got them the ball. Giving the ball away for fun though in midfield, obviously plan is quick ball in behind every time but we're rushing it too much and sloppy
We mostly counter fairly well with Martial up top. People are down on him, but I highly doubt we're countering as effectively with Weghorst up top. I think he's going to get another year, just this time as the clear #2 striker, at this rate, and hopefully can stay healthy playing that smaller role.

Decent game of football, Brighton neat passing game but i feel we look more dangerous in the final third.
our passing needs to be more concise. Could go either way.

Once again I feel like the opposition have a playing style, and we just have a bunch of players on the pitch hoping to find a pass to another one. Their passing and movement is far superior to ours.

Also, Casemiro looks well behind the pace - slow and clumsy.
I think Utd have been dealing with Brighton's style quite well, have been cutting out those early balls to feet and blocking off the passing lanes. Their best chances have come from mistakes by Utd players in defensive areas.

Utd's best chances are coming from quick transitions higher up the pitch. Makes it look haphazard, but honestly you cannot play a controlling game when half your team treat the ball like it's rat trying to run up their trousers.

What I don't get is how some fans criticise our players to the extreme but will then hype up the opposition players despite them also fluffing chances...
