Heading to our biggest defeat at Stamford Bridge since 1999/2000. We *did* win the title that season...
That was obviously just a massive off day, this today is more a real image of the current Manchester United.

We need to break the world record a few more times just to compete for the top 4.
No, we just need first of all defenders with brains and back bone

What's Pogba's price got to do with anything? You don't sign 8 first team players. It's not football manager.
If you're spending that much money on a player, IMO, he's either coming in to plug a massive gaping hole that your lacking someone in or he's the finishing touch to take a great team to the next level. Instead he's played in all 3 midfield positions so far and we're severely lacking in depth elsewhere.

Unfortunately Jose has made the same mistake as Moyes and LVG and I've been complaining about it for 3 years. This squad has needed a chainsaw taking to it for 3 years. Every new manager that has come in has given the squad the chance to prove itself (despite failing the year before). A squad that has achieved 4th at best. And it's cost everybody their job. It's already too late for jose because you only get one chance to ship out if you ignore the summer. The next manager needs to sit down and watch every single match of the season before...give a list to Ed and say these need to go. Not Utd quality.
Agree with the chainsaw approach. Jose should've done a massive overhaul. We carry over some lightweight players year to year like a bad debt with interest.

Disagree about the only one chance though. I hope we stick with Mourinho for the long run. He earned the benefit of the doubt.

Mourinho whispered something lengthy into Contes ear

Either Conte didn't understand it, or wasn't impressed

If this is going to be the new standard of our players I think we should all donate some money to the Caf as the site has been working really poorly tonight. Got several can't take the strains and has been very slow overall.

Yeah I don't think blind and lingard should be sold. They're just not first team quality. As for smalling, he's been terrible all year.
Very harsh to say he has been horrible all year! The backline have been solid except against citeh and chelski. Both matches we just capitulated and lost the plot for whatever reason.

At least jose showed a little fight when leaving the pitch.

Had a word with conte. Most likely because the cnut was egging the crowd on and what not. Either that or conte just kept fecking asking his team to come forwards and pile on us even when the scoreline was settled.

Don't think I'll be posting in the football part of this forum for a while. I'm done with football for now.

Heaviest away defeat in 17 years.

Ffs. We've had plenty worse at home on the past 5.

Jose didn't like Conte doing the show to the crowd, "you don't do that at 4-0"
Well I do recall someone acting like a complete bell end and running down the touchline after a 1-1 draw in the UCL.

    Wonder who that was

No we have the players here. It's about the managers using them correctly. No massive overhaul needed at all. A rb and a cm needed but even what the sum of what we have is enough to be much better.

Well what have we been doing in every transfer window since? Compare these two.

    -----------De Gea-------------
    Rafael-Smalling-Evans--Evra
    --------Carrick-Fletcher------
    Nani-------Rooney------Giggs
    ----Van Persie/Hernandez---

    -----------De Gea--------------
    Valencia-Smalling-Bailly-Shaw
    -------Herrera--Pogba--------
    Rashford---Mata--------Martial
    ---------Ibrahimovic------------

We've spent, and spent and spent. Shipped out tonnes of deadwood. The problems go deeper.
Absolutely true. The problem is the football has changed, and the changes make you either adapt or fall behind. The old good player that does only his job descripotion role and is clumsy with the ball does no longer work. Look at what Kante did for Chelsea's goal. There has been imo, a transition from the typical role player, to a more versatile type of player. A DM is no longer pure destruction player. A winger is no longer a pure line-hugging player. A striker is no longer a pure poacher. He does a lot of things now. Pressing, link-up play, a lot of things.

Look at the top rated players even at CB. Pique, Ramos, Boateng. Far from the profile of a Nesta.

Hope Jose keeps his cool. Should not be saying anything to Conte, our players are the ones that need some nasty harsh words spoken to them
