True, but they're being given very clear, rigid instructions. Its awful to watch. They all look afraid to take a chance or risk anything.

My last comment was on the back of calling Herrera out being next to useless today. Hes far from alone as well.
I don't think many of them have the ability to take a risk. We've started with one player who can beat people.

    Er...sorry...near Southampton.
The total human approach was not so great. Thank goodness for Ashely Young. Nice to see Jesse on. In a way, I'm just grateful we are in and around the top four, given that we are in no way yet performing.

Ancelotti in? before chelsea have a shot.
I would take Carlo over LVG in a heartbeat. It won't happen, though. We're in for another season and a half of this, before we roll the dice with Giggs. Possession above all else, including pace, bravery, creativity and adaptability...that's the "philosophy".

    LVG needs to go
With the money spent he hasn't produced. Pellegrini has done far much more with City with a similar budget.

tbf, the ref was silly to not stop play for a clear head injury. Can understand why he was wound up.
Do eye injuries count as head injuries in football?

But point still stands, referee quality and respect needs to be improved.

We are so fecking shite it's unbearable to watch. I hope the media rip us to shreds after three goalless draws on the bounce.

We look impotent, short of ideas and struggle to create clear chances. Its becoming very clear that we are dull and uninventive.

United fans singing attack attack attack attack attack at the full time whistle, pretty obvious sign Louis...

We won't win titles drawing games, we need to gamble more.

Lucky to escape. A point isn't a bad thing but LVG really needs to rethink our attack. Its appalling. We don't create enough chances.

Why he still persists with Rooney up top I will never understand. It cost us 65 minutes of dire attacking football. The moment we put Martial up there things just start happening. Except he has little to no support.

Sad to say that we have gone away from our tradition of powerful and pacy attacking wingers to fielding "attacking midfielders" like Mata in wing positions. I like Mata but he is not a winger. He just doesn't fit in our formation. We need to get pace on our flanks otherwise this drab shite we call football will only continue.

Move Rooney left and Martial central they said, well there you have it.

We're so poor in the final third!

we made him the 5th highest paid player in the world. highest in the league. We should expect WORLD CLASS performances week in week out.

i absolutely loath the dude, and wish him and his ugly wife would just feck back off to scouse land. This is a guy that wanted to leave us for city...

gets away with it of course, because the media love him.

He actually makes Fellaini more likable.

    LvG out for me.

Taken us as far as he will.

No desire or ideas, never see him get off his seat or look much more than mildly bothered and clearly afraid to make the big decisions in his selections.

Our totally bland, spineless and probably most boring brand of football in the league is coming from him.

What a truly dire performance. They deserved to win that. We were scrappy. No cutting edge. Young came on and gave a bit more pace to this slow as shite team.

City haven't replaced an entire team, merely added to an already strong team. Apples and oranges.

We haven't play swashbuckling football since 2009. People wearing rose-tinted glasses.

We can't expect so much literally one year on since finishing 7th. Title challenge is a realistic aim this season.

I forgot how hysterical the match threads are.

Yeah, I've gone from see how it goes to definitely get rid of him in the Summer. I cannot handle another 18 months of this.

I'm even starting to lean towards getting rid now if we can get ancelotti.

That's a ridiculous statement at this stage. Arsenal have given Wenger more time than any manager and he hasn't won the PL in more than 10 years. But you want to sack LVG into a rebuliding phase? Tripe post

We had 5 shots with 1 on target. A 5 hour goal drought now. Rooney has had enough chances and we look toothless with him leading our attack. Surely we need to get Martial back through the middle.

I don't mind if we're not exciting, but we need to win - just give us a chance and play the best players in their correct positions. This is frustrating as hell, but we'll see what happens.
