MEN said a couple of players were unidentifiable and we usually travel with at least 20 players and only 19 listed there so either Young or Herrera missing

Everton always seem pretty awful anytime I watch them. Then again I have little faith in us scoring coming off recent games. Hopefully a much improved performance for this.
in everton's last three home games they have drawn with liverpool, beat chelsea and arsenal. pretty solid at home recently.

this has all the hallmarks of a 0-0, 15 shots on target, rashford missing 7 shots game

    Must win game.

As far as I’m concerned anyone guilty of putting in a half arsed performance need to go ASAP.

That's the sort of thing which has been said for years and the deadwood, lazy players still get contracts renewed.
This Summer, we will spend very little and go into next season, aiming for 4th place, because we simply aren't good enough for top 3.

Matic and Sanchez to come in possibly. At least this is Shaw's last ban and he'll be back for City.

Wonder if tonight has affected the morale of the players.:nervous:
I heard Shaw served his match ban against Barca and is back for today?

Agree we’re not currently a top three team and I’m baffled at the reluctance to get rid of players who are simply not good enough.

Statistically, Everton are due to beat us today.

Something like 11 games at Moyes' death rattle since the last time, no ?

Given how bad our form has been lately, and that stat, today is day for doing something else rather than watching us on TV.

It's cheaper and the club is now happy with just a top 4 place.

Please drop both De Gea & Young not because their mistakes against Barca but the fact that they've been awful in the last couple of weeks now and David's obvious contract situation. His mind is elsewhere now and we should do the same Van Gaal did at the start of 15-16 season. Also maybe start Alexis. Wish Shaw was available but hopefully he'll be back for city fully fit.

It's freaking time for Sanchez to prove himself, especially considering the Ole's recent comments.

Didn’t watch those games bar the Liverpool game I must admit, so quite literally the matches I’ve watched I’m meaning.

Guess it’ll be harder than I thought.

Hoping Everton’s 2-0 defeat against Fulham last week began their “nothing to play for, so lost interest” phase of the season.

If this team cant pick themselves up when finishing in top 4 is still an extremely plausible chance - then feck ‘em.

They better be interested as hell and give us a proper match.?
You want your team to finish top4 just because other teams are not interested or you want to find out where your team's quality is in reality?

    United squad

Goalkeepers (3): David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant
Defenders (5): Diogo Dalot, Matteo Darmian, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones
Midfielders (5): Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, Fred, Andreas Pereira, Nemanja Matic
Forwards (6): Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku

Note: Luckhurst says that those present said some players disappeared out of shot, so the likes of Young and Rojo may have travelled.

Honestly pal, at this stage of the season, I’ll take 3 points over a team who’s lost interest. We have two huge games coming up after this again. This on paper is the closest to a banker we can get.

Doubt City cared with the way they played yesterday against Spurs to grab another 3 points.

Going to get pumped today, I very doubt this bunch has the spine or conviction to pull it out and match the kind of fight and effort that Everton are going to put in.

They will run us off the park.

I think Mctominay and Matic should start this game as 2 sitting midfielders and pogba at 10.

Ever since pogba has been moved deeper than at 10 he has sulked ever since and he's not at all putting his effort into it like he does for France. Weather it's deliberate or not it's clear he doesn't put any effort in to improve things while playing deep.

If we are to get champions league we better play him where can utilize him to maximum until the end of the season.
