Just play our best team. Leicester will not be pushovers.
We need our defenders on their toes for this one. Leicester usually play deep and do well on the counter, our CB's will be tested against them. If we play like we have the last games, we will get some dangerous counters against us.

I love our new way of playing and hope we continue to build on this but Ole doesn't have the defenders SAF had.

They're arch game raisers, so need to be right on it, with the best available team.

With Arse at City, a great opportunity to get ahead of them.

    --------------DDG----------------
    Young - Lindelof - Smalling - Shaw
    --------------Matic----------------
    ------------Herrera - Pogba-------
    --Lingard - Rashford - Martial---

We can't continue with Jones any longer, it's too costly.

Has there been any traveling squad news?
Man Utd travelling squad vs Leicester
    Goalkeepers: De Gea, Romero, Grant
Defenders: Lindelof, Young, Bailly, Shaw, Dalot, Jones
Midfielders: Pogba, Herrera, Mata, Fred, Matic, Lingard
    Forwards: Martial, Lukaku, Sanchez, Rashford

    Travelling squad

Goalkeepers (3): De Gea, Romero, Grant
Defenders (6): Lindelof, Young, Bailly, Shaw, Dalot, Jones
Midfielders (4): Pogba, Herrera, Fred, Matic
Forwards (6): Martial, Lukaku, Sanchez, Rashford, Mata, Lingard

McTominay, Smalling, Pereira, Valencia and Darmian weren't spotted but you'd figure that one of them would travel in case we have an injury overnight/in warm-up tomorrow.

The two positions I am unsure about for this game are CB and the 3rd forward if Martial isn't fit enough to play.

I think it might make sense to bring Smalling in to combat Maguire's aerial threat on set pieces, if not I'd like to see Bailly back rather than Jones.

If Martial isn't fit enough to start then Sanchez can come in as a straight replacement on the LW, but if Lukaku gets the nod I hope we play the split Striker system like against Arsenal with Lingard in the false 9 role rather than Lukaku leading the line.

For all of Leicester City's big game raising status w'ere currently on a 8 game unbeaten run against them,9 if you include the Charity Shield.

We're 3 games undefeated at the King Power stadium.

Our last defeat to Leicester City was that famous drubbing we received under the philosophy obsessed LVG.

    I've done it now,haven't I ?

Just hope for our winning lineup, primarily a Lingard, Rashford and Martial.

Vardy is nailed on to score the tryhard cnut.

I don't want to see more of Mata, he single handily ruins tempo of our game. Martial-Rashford-Lingard front 3 please.

Need to win this. Anything but 3pts and we are 4/5pts behind again and with tough games coming up too.

Ole needs to stick with the tried and tested team. Only change for me would be Bailly over Jones. Other than that it needs to be the team he's picked most often with Martial, Rashford n Jesse as the front 3.

Christ if we don't win it'll begin to give me nightmares of that season under Van Gaal where we rallied but perpetually remained 6th.

Tough game which I don't see us winning. I expect us to concede at least one with our defence so we'll need our finishing to be a lot better than Tuesday.

If we want to continue pushing for the top 4 we need to win this and Fulham and take the advantages from City playing Arsenal and Chelsea. These are the games that will tell if we mean business or we can't.

Can't wait. Will be a hard game but feel more confident than I would have a few months ago. Is Bailly fit? Would be tempted to start him with Lindelof, he normally does ok against Vardy.

I see everyone is putting Bailly in their predicted XIs, waiting for the next Phil Jones mistake or injury that never seems to be coming. Meanwhile Jones will again be included in the actual line up, will drop another solid performance and Bailly will of course be back in the predicted XIs for the next game.

    Smalling hasn't travelled.
Yea, indeed. Ole told that "Smalling would be involved", but apparently he would not. Then we should go like this:

    --------------DDG----------------
    Young - Lindelof - Bailly - Shaw
    --------------Matic----------------
    ------------Herrera - Pogba-------
    --Lingard - Rashford - Martial---

I think this will be a close game but we’ll edge it 3-1. Score line may flatter us though.

I'm going for the Jones boy. He seems to have got much of his confidence back since Jose left.

    When Jones was rested?
It doesn't matter. We predicted Bailly and he started. And it's quite normal we would predict him again for a game with similar demands.

I hope we go out with full power, Arsenal is probably going to lost points to City so we need to take advantage.

Pereira is not even on the bench which is a clear indication that Ole is not going to have mercy for underachieving players. Hopefully we can start to see Fred and see if he is good enough or not.

The main points is to play the magic three in the midfield, Lingard on the right and Rashford upfront.

I have a good feeling, we will win 2-0

Remember Van Gaal's boat when Leicester's 5th went in. It was a mixture of bewilderment, anger, and hopelessness, as only LVG could express. He looked like someone had just stolen his dinner from under his nose.

No Smalling is annoying. Want him back in the side ASAP. If I’m not mistaken he missed the game there last season, and Maguire scores from a cross to equalise late on. Fine margins, but we could do with our most aerially dominant centre half.

He was playing but on one leg due to an injury, that was so amature from us that day not to let him either come off or not to put him up front so was out of the way for defending situations

That was the game that changed LVG, never seemed the same after that.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the game that made him become obsessed with that boring no-mistakes-at-any-cost-so-make-as-many-sidepasses-as-you-can sort of playstyle. We were actually quite attacking in that game and kept a high line, hence the LC's goals that came from counters.

That was actually a very entertaining match. We were scoring many goals and i think by the 60 minute mark, we'd scored 3.
Then Jamie Vardy decided to make a name for himself.
Since then, Vardy has been very consistent against us, especially at Old Trafford.
