With “only” Maguire and Evans as aerial threats I don’t think that we are forced to play Smalling or Jones for this game.

I think that Bailly can be a good fit to face Vardy and his speed. Otherwise Leicester will be really difficult to handle especially on counter with their two lines of 4 players.

It may be the same games as Burnley. We will probably not have spaces and for sure the likes of Chilwell and Pereira will enjoy their time down the wings so we have to be really careful.

Added the fact that we are only now 2 points away from the 4th place, it means that if we win we will be at least ahead of Arsenal (Chelsea will win at home) but we’ll put pressure for sure.

Next week we’ll play at Fulham and Chelsea at City so IF we manage to win these two, we’ll be in the driving seat for fourth… (then 10 days off before Pool at home)

So massive, massive two away games for us and absolute wins….

    De Gea

    Young

    Bailly

    Lindelof

    Shaw

    Matic

    Herrera

    Pogba (Fred)

    Lingard

    Rashford

    Martial (Alexis)

Considering their recent results against top sides, this is tough fixture.

    Young - Lindelof - Jones - Shaw
    Matic
    Herrera - Pogba
    Lingard - Rashford - Martial*

    *Alexis if injured

    Piss off with everything else.
No way to Jones. I was near the Burnley fans on Tuesday night, every time they booed, Jones rushed the pass. His legs shake when on the ball too.

Bailly for Jones (I’m strongly assuming Varane doesn’t sign for us today) and I agree with everything else

Sounds good. Maybe Bailly or Smalling if he's fit and Lindelof is happy playing LCB, but to be fair Jones has been fine recently.

Bound to happen that we will concede from a deadball situation. Some header or second ball or sthg. Doesn't matter though as long as our offense clicks. Play Martial/Sanchez - Rashford - Lingard up front, backed by Pog, Herrera and Matic. If everything works, we will win it 2-1.

Bailly isn't anywhere near our strongest team. Smalling should come back in for this and look to build on the solid partnership that he and Lindelof had.
What solid partnership? You mean that one that was leaking goals left right and centre?

We need to go into this full strength. Must pick up the next 6 points, it'll put us in 4th place. Chelsea and Arsenal are likely to lose to City and they both play them over the next two weeks.

They'll be quick and physical on the counter. Keep the ball well to drain them and make them chase the ball

There will be a difficult match but I think we win with a goal if Ole takes out the best players from the start.

I havent watch Leicester games but based on highlights, Chillwell and RB Pereira guy looks really good players. Especially Pereira in terms of attacking, not sure of hia defending though.

Leicester have a decent team. They need better wingers though.

Chilwell looks very good indeed these days. I can see now why so many clubs wanted to buy him a few years ago.

We'll probably need to score at least 2 to win this.
Vardy will almost certainly score - as against the top 6 sides, he is consistent.

This will be a difficult game, but not like Burnley. I don’t think we will make the mistake of playing with a slow tempo.

Not sure Lindelhof and Jones is a fully functioning defensive partnership, they looked like strangers against Burnley. They are similar in taking up positions but don’t coordinate. Lindelhof reads the game better but doesn’t seem to be able to control Jones’ brain farts (tbh who can?). The perfect combo for this game is Lindelhof and Bailly. As for the rest we have to go back to Rashford-Martial-Lingard and Pogba-Herrera-Matic. We seemed lightweight against Burnley even though we fought back. As for subs, perhaps plan around Greenwood instead of Sanchez and Fred instead of Pereira.

I don’t think the Ole bubble has burst but I wouldn’t be surprised if we draw.

We have a surprisingly really good recent history against them... Only loss the 5-3 with LvG in his first few games, a few draws where we should have won like last season where they scored in the last minute, etc...

Still will be tough though. Especially away. Hopefully they arent as pumped up to prove a point after getting a result vs Liverpool.
    Easy 11 to pick:
    De Gea
    Young Lindelof Jones Shaw
    Matic
    Herrera Pogba
    Lingard Rashford Martial

Like to think we'll win (and if we create the chances we did against Burnley then we will) but they have upset a lot of top teams this season so it will be tough

Next 6 points are crucial and if we win them we'll probably be in 4th already.

Just go with our best lineup and can get a win. It's a tricky game but we have enough quality to win this. Will be a close score though.

Need to put someone aerially good on slabhead when defending set pieces because i am certain he will score one if we don't. Which means Smalling has to play

Serial game raisers. We need to dust off the Burnley result and play with urgency from the start, this is a big game

Leicester have just signed Youri Tielemans. He was a pretty decent player when played against his Anderlecht team in the Europa League 2 seasons ago.

Will be a tough game as you never know which Leicester will show up.

Not saying he should be first choice but I do remember Bailly having some good games against Vardy. Wouldn't be surprised to see him start unless Smalling is back.

Can Martial play? We need him so that the defenders cannot triple mark Rashford.
