Go full strength. Top 4 looks pretty secure and this game is massively important in terms of getting a trophy. If we can cement second place and win this and EL then that will be an outstanding season. Second and one of the cups would be real progress too. Leicester are too good a side to be taken lightly.

Only thing I'm worried about is how many players have 120 minutes in them.

Harry, AWB, Scott, and Fred aren't human, they'll be fine. Bruno will play 120 minutes in a tight game, because of his penalties. I'd also start Shaw with a view to taking him off if possible for Telles for his set piece ability too.

Assuming 120 mins and pens Starting team.

Dean, AWB, Maguire, Bailly, Shaw, Mctominay, Fred, Bruno, James, Martial Greenwood

    Finishing team.

Dean, AWB, Maguire, Bailly, TELLES, McTominay, Fred, MATIC, POGBA, Greenwood, CAVANI.

Ole needs to remind the boys that staying in this competition might be the only way of stopping City winning the treble, now that we're out of the title race.

Its away, which favours us strangely as our away form is better than home. I guess because teams are more likely to come out and play and leave us space to get in behind their defence..
after this match we have a full week off to rest. I’d still expect a couple of changes as we played in Europe Thursday.

Pogba will come on at half time again imo.
DDG a likely starter, Bally in for Victor - hard to predict the front 3 as they are all undergoing assessment. James and greenwood will start and then its 1 from Martial cavanni Rashford.
I’d leave Rashford to get fit so its 1 from martial and Cavani for me.
We don’t play for 2 weeks but some of our players will have international games

Same team as vs Milan, but Pogba on the left and i'd be tempted to give VdB a start in CM in place of Fred although would be surprised if we went with that.

Cannot abide the thought of the bitters winning the treble let alone the quadruple so we have to stay in this competition as a way of stopping them.

It's the only one left that we can have a direct impact on their ability to win it so we must get through each round to maximise that opportunity.

Therefore, anything less than a strong line up will be most disappointing! :D

So we're going to try to win the FA Cup to stop City winning a quadruple? Hmmm.

Feels like there’s not much excitement around this game amongst our fan base?

I’m personally looking forward to it, especially now that we have Pogba back.

I can see us edging it 2-1.

Or it would be nice if we won a trophy for ourselves also

I think many feel the Europa is a more realistic aim for trophy

Perhaps that's the issue? I sense a concern it could be a bit tense, a bit frustrating and if we win, we'll "edge it 2-1".

With the injuries up front and the tiredness the team seems to have, it's hard to see a blistering, exciting cup win in store. But, fingers crossed, I'm wrong and we win 6-0! :D

Little rotation to keep things fresh. Maybe the diamond if Rashford is out (and Martial/Cavani are still unavailable)...

    Henderson
    Awb Lindelof Maguire Telles
    Matic
    Mctominay Pogba
    VdB
    Bruno Greenwood
With Bruno roaming as a false striker/No.10

The thing I’m dreading most about this game is Jermaine Jenas being the commentator.

I get that it’s important to be realistic about our squad and our situation, but there’s something about us not challenging on all fronts that doesn’t sit right with me.

We should be a club that has the right mentality and resources to do so in my mind.

Don’t hold your breath for the 6-0!

Saying that, regardless of the predicted score line, the opposition and the state of our squad, any match we play at this stage in the FA Cup is exciting for me as we’re not a million miles away from potentially lifting a trophy, which is what we need right now IMO.

What's the situation with Bailly then?

Have you seen this (bullshit) reports that he was pissed off Ole left him out the Milan 2nd leg?

Leicester are a very good side, I'd bite your hand off for an edgy 2-1 win right now.

Or maybe a diamond with Fernandes, Pogba, Van de Beek and Matic/Fred/McTominay.

Probably a good idea because Leicester will have no width in the team with no Barnes, Ünder, Justin and Pereira.
I'd love it personally, but none of Fred/McT/Matic is capable of being sole DM. It's more likely Ole will keep going with the double pivot.

Journalists hinting that Telles, Pogba, Van De Beek, Martial, Cavani all starting if so that's plenty of rotation from Thursday.

The semi final draw is scheduled for half time in this match. Would it not make more sense to have it after the match?

Bruno was gash against AC Milan so him sitting out makes sense. Let's hope VdB produces better though.

Have to think that Vardy is due a great game against us. If he does, we're in trouble. Played him well in the PL and he still got a (very lucky) goal. Proper performance and we go through - anything less and we're out
