The better team won on the day. They were a better rested team who had a lot more time than us to prepare for this match. We just don't have the squad to compete for multiple trophies. We shouldn't be seeing this drop off in quality when rotating our players, but that's where we are with the lack of quality in our squad.

Individual misstakes costing us game. That happens. I’m dissapointed with some players but they are human. Hopefully Mctominay and Fred learns something from this. Martial in no form at all.

Really bad. Can’t win them all, Leicester proving why they’re where they’re in the league.

United just don't seem to want it these days. Trophyless seasons are ok for the players and staff it seems.

The so-called progress under Ole is basically Bruno Fernandes. He's papering over absolutely massive cracks.

So were entering into an international break, we've got a quarterfinal to play. What do we do ?

Manager says cups dont mean anything and proceeds to bench our best performing players. Is it any surprise we didn't win ?

That doesn't excuse the players though, our central midfield of fred, matic and mct are shite and martial leading the line is shite. Pogba should never have been taken off.

United need a RW and need to replace Martial ASAP.

The summer the club needs a Striker and RW, playing with Martial is always like playing with 10 men, no movement, back to goal, waste of time.

I always felt like United were going to lose the game, in a real purple patch of form as of late, top 4 is a result this year, but real investment needs to be made really to win the big games.

Been coming for a while that. We've been off our game for a long time (Aside from City) and got away with it.

Far better team won today. Could've been more as well.

One team had had a week off and one had a gruelling game in Italy on Thursday evening and it showed.

Just forget it and move on.

Fair result. If we were that serious about winning it we wouldn’t have started with that team.

Leicester’s midfield dominated all game. Ndidi and Tielemans are leagues above Fred, Matic and even McT to a lesser degree.

Utter shite, didn't turn up and the midfield was particularly dreadful. Not good enough.

Bruno, Pogba and Cavani all have that elite leadership/winning metality.

when they are all fit they need together. Get the game won, then make changes.

Disappointing.

Seemed strange to rest our best two performers Shaw and Bruno for this one, as it was always going to be a tough one.

That was shocking.

Pogba was pretty good I thought, Telles was ok. Greenwood ended his goal drought. That's it for positives.

Everyone else was appalling. Special mention though to Fred and Martial. Utter dogshit the pair of them.

Pathetic. We looked like shit and worse we looked uninterested.

Deserved to lose. We were awful. The starting lineup was baffling and played like crap together, what a surprise.

The usual suspects were terrible.

Another chance at a trophy meekly and pathetically blown.
