First team for me. Build momentum and rest when you're winning. Don't try and be too smart.

    De Gea
    Dalot Varane Martinez Malacia
    Casemiro Fred
    Antony Eriksen Sancho
    Martial

These are still a very talented side. They've been quite unlucky so far this season and I think they'll be bang at it on Thursday.

I'd be delighted with another narrow win.

Seems like we are playing them at a good time. If we put in effort and focus, we should win without too much fuss.

Considering we play Arsenal on Sunday, I think we might make quite a few changes for this one.

DDG, Shaw, Martinez, Varane, AWB, Casemiro, Fred, Rashford, Fernandes, Ronaldo, Sancho

The idea if fames being played on deadline day is totally ridiculous. Especially given how long it takes these clowns to register players these days. So many teams will be left short, and will probably mean that the deadline day will be Wednesday in reality.

All it takes is one phone call and then the likes of Wan-Bissaka or Ronaldo have to be pulled out of the squad, leaving us short. There could be sudden developments with several players, and if that happens, they cannot play. Any replacements through the door, even as early as Wednesday probably can’t play either. It will disrupt many teams with many player’s futures still being uncertain.

Really tough choices to be made with the starting 11 for this one with Arsenal just a a few days later.

If it were me I'd start:

    --------------------------------------------------------------De Gea------------------------------------------------------
    AWB---------------------------Varane-----------------------------------Martinez------------------------------Shaw
    --------------------------------------------Casemiro------------------Fred----------------------------------------------
    Sancho -----------------------------------------------Fernandes------------------------------------------Elanga
    -------------------------------------------------------------Rashford------------------------------------------------

Dalot, Malacia, Anthony and Eriksen to start against Arsenal (Maybe Martial also depending on how Rashford performs).

We have some decent squad depth for once. Just lacking at right back and Striker really.

    How serious is Martials injury?
    De Gea
    Dalot
    Maguire
    Martinez
    Shaw
    Casemiro
    Fred
    Bruno
    Sancho
    Rashford
    Ronaldo

Leicester are out of form I hope it continues that way, we can't overplay Varane, Maguire wasn't bad even against Brentford and Brighton. Elanga shouldn't be starting at United he tries but the quality is lacking. Hopefully Martial is OK to make the bench so we could utilize him in the second half, Casemiro full debut excites me.

We're better now and Leicester are rancid.
Confidence. I'm not there yet. I've been burned too many times in the last decade by false dawns.

Come Thursday, Vardy will blast past Varane because the French twat won't look at his feet and end up tripping over a jumping Martinez, who has decided that he wants to be a kangaroo when he grows up. Then Malacia will overhear a United fan saying that he's only here because he's Dutch and his head will drop. 2-0 Leicester. Antony won't be there because it'll turn out he just came over for Van De Beek's wedding. Ten Hag will buy a wig and lose his magical bald powers, shift us into a 5-4-1 with Fernandes as a False 9, ten loses in a row coming up.

I hope not. Maguire and Shaw have done nothing to deserve a place in this team and Malacia, Varane and Martinez are developing a fine understanding.
But they're not robots. We can't play with them 3 days later against a high intensity Arsenal if we play them on Thursday against Leicester.

Surprised to see so many people including Fred in their lineups.
He was absolutely dreadful against Brighton and Brentford, was subbed at half time in both matches.
McTominay was very good against Liverpool and Soton, not sure in what world you pick the poorest performer this season for us for a tough away match where we lost last season.
Let Fred pick up some form in the Europa league.

Eriksen might get rested for the Arsenal match.

People need to stop fixating on the Arsenal match. The team we pick on Thursday needs to be with the primary objective of beating Leicester.

Ahh yes the 2-2-1-1-2-1-1 formation with offset GK playing from LB. ETH truly is a revolutionary coach.

Haha judging by a couple of comments I presume this is showing differently on other people screens?

On mine it just shows as a 4-2-3-1

Exactly - we’re not good enough to rotate. Leicester also are going to have a reaction for sure and are always up for it against us. Forget Arsenal, focus on the game in hand and win that.

Leicesters season starts here, pressing like maniacs with the crowd going absolutely mental. 6-0, they'll then roll over and lose to some shite at the weekend.

I see 2 RB’s, Shaw at defensive midfield, Fred at LB and De Gea as a Left goal keeper, interesting to say the least.

No chance of Antony starting really, the game is only two days after today which is the day I am assuming it'll be officially announced.

    Expecting this:
    DDG
    Dalot Varane Martinez Malacia
    Casemiro
    Eriksen Bruno
    Sancho Ronaldo Rashford

We've got to keep this little run of results going into the Arsenal game and build some momentum up. I wouldn't make many changes if at all possible. Maybe bring in Casemiro from the start. Leicester raise their game against us, so we need to be wise to that and enforce ourselves on the game in the first 15 mins - really important we start well against these. 0-2.

The thought I guess there is ETH can use Fred how Fred should be used with Casemiro at DM instead of Fred as the DM when he is paired with McTominay and because Casemiro and Fred have history playing together for Brazil so there should be a rapport between the 2 which will help Casemiro only having had a handful of training sessions with the team
