Just popped up on my Facebook feed:

    Was a great moment :D
He was such a big man, that he even voted for Suarez in the player of the season awards (the next season I think)

That's one heck of a gesture for a victim of racial abuse!
Loving Evra and loving Rafael also and loving those moments and hope we have so many more in the future

Generally I don't like Pogba , but when we win against Liv and if he makes some nice cool dance in front of the Kop , all will be forgotten

We've had two weeks of Martial fans shitting on Jose despite it being pointed out that the rotation policy has Anthony starting today.
Granted he still has to actually start but it's two weeks of near hatred that could have been avoided.
Also with Martial starting it shows that Jose fancies this.

Wonder if Mourinho will go 3 CBs today, didn't go that way in my team prediction, really not sure....right on cue clip of JM from his press conference on TV saying United will play 1 defender and 9 strikers today. Brilliant..........

Really nervous about this game, it's a must win for them. The confidence from our fans is a little bit worrying for this fixture. I think they will have to play very well to beat us, think it will be a score draw. They are going to come out flying at us, need to keep the ball and break up play for the first 15 minutes. I think if we score first we will get something from this game. Liverpool chasing a game would be great for our counter attack. Need to be clinical today, big Rom will get a chance.

Don't know if it's been posted yet, but Phil Thompson says Liverpool will win with a clean sheet
He predicts they'll win every game when asked on the weeekends fixtures, and at the start of each season that they will win the league. The guy is a knob and is to be ignored.

The confidence is from the result and performance of previous games, same way people get demoralize in a losing streak.

Btw, it's a must win game for us too because we want the title.

Currently in Bordeaux and in two minds to find a bar showing it.

    Got a bad feeling.

There is nowt worse seeing your team get beat whilst abroad and the locals enjoying it.

i've to go to a funeral after the game, maybe a defeat would be more appropriate

Not sure how I feel about this, CSKA was creating chances easily when we set up this way.
True, but Southampton, Stoke and Everton created quite a few chances when set up in a 4231. Actually, we had to move to a 352 to nulify Soton.

I think the set up is irrelevant really. Against CSKA, because we started well, we pushed our players forward more, hence why we looked a bit susceptible on the counter. Think we'll have more of a reserved approach against Pool.

Yes but it could end up that way in second half if we are leading slightly.

Just put in my lineup prediction. For some reason I have a feeling that Valencia and Young will start with Lingard, Martial and Herrera. The rest of the team selects itself I guess.

Good timing. Martial/Rashford the only disagreement.

I want Mata to at least get 45 mins today and start so that we keep the ball better in the first half and create.

Would move mkh on the right and alternatively interchange positions during the game.

Guess depending on the situation lingard and martial could be subbed on later. Also we could end up in a 532 later on if we are on a slender lead so assuming at least one defensive sub weather it will be Smalling , darmian or blind remains to be seen.

Would kill for a repeat of 06/07 - play like a bag of shit, win with the last kick via our least skilled player.

As much as this line up is perfectly balanced I don't expect young and valencia to play on same side because the offer similar things.

Rashford or Lingard might play there or even mkh if Mata is selected too.

I know but to say with confidence United won't even score is pretty silly even by his standards.

Don't get me wrong we might not score, but I dont think anyone finds it likely.

Will you guys be disappointed in Mourinho if he parks the bus and gets a 0-0 draw?
Yes. If he does that against Liverpool then it will be the same against City, Chelsea,Arsenal,Tottenham and any decent team we meet in the champions league.

I want to be entertained in the big games, not bored rigid.

I wasn't following the internationals. Was Rashford playing, if yes, how many days rest he had after that? If Rashford is fit, i have a feeling that Jose will start him coz of his defensive abilities to support the LB and then use Martial against a tired pool defense.

And how about Smalling, was he playing with the NT? Please reply, i should submit my lineup.

Manchester United have stepped up preparations ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Liverpool, according to midfield ace Nemanja Matic.

United travel to Anfield following the recent international break, and Jose Mourinho’s men should be high on confidence given the sensational form in 2017/18 so far.

The Reds have claimed 19 points from a possible 21 in the Premier League, and sit joint-top with neighbours Manchester City. Meanwhile, Liverpool lie seventh with 12 points from their opening seven fixtures.

Matic has been one of Mourinho’s key men in the first two months of the season, and the Serbian anchor-man has admitted that meticulous preparation is being undertaken for the highly-charged encounter.

“We have prepared very well,” Matic told MUTV. “The manager got some videos for us to see what [Liverpool] have in their team and how we can stop them, so I’m sure we will be ready for them.

“It’s like every game - we have to be focused for the 90 minutes, we have to take care of the small details, because they can be dangerous.

“It’s very important to know at every stage of the game what we have to do,” he added. “Every small mistake they can punish you, so our concentration is very important, but, of course, we have to use our quality to score some goals as well.”

Liverpool are a side renowned for their high-intensity pressing game and fast starts to matches, as Arsenal found out earlier in the season, but Matic believes his side have what it takes to deal with the Merseysiders’ threat.

“They always want to score goals in the first 10-15 minutes,” Matic said. “We have to be ready for that, and we have to be very aggressive in the same way they try to be.

“I’ve played [at Anfield] a few times and they always try to be like that, but we have the quality to stop them. It’s a big derby, it’s a special game for our fans and for their fans, so, I’m sure our fans will enjoy it and support us for the whole 90 minutes and we will try to make them happy, of course.”
