The best way to resist us is to attack but if Mourinho will set you up like he has done in his last two visits to Anfield, I can't see you coping with the pressure throughout the entire game, nor can I see you scoring on a rare counter attack.

Lovren playing gives you a great chance to nick a few though :(
Just watching the debate on sky. Showed Lovren playing like an arse against Lukaku and Lukaku wasn't even trying to out muscle him. He is such a disaster. :(

Surely Utd have to put Lukaku in on Sunday. Just for Lovren.

Haha, what I'd give for Juanfield 2.0, but alas...I think the hope is futile.

I'll just do my usual thing and put money on bets in favour of Liverpool. If we win, amazing. If we draw, meh, decent. If we lose, I'm quids in to go drown my sorrows.

Who said we would have no say in the title race this season!? We’re the kingmakers this weekend!

This is actually scary with all injured in the defense.

For a while, I thought we had a real chance to get some points. Now it does not even seem to be a theoretical possibility.

We need a miracle and, yes, miracles have happened before, so let's pray for it on Sunday!

Knocking pool off the unbeaten run will be a welcome early Christmas gift. If we don’t turn up and play like we’re possessed by united legends of old, sack the fecking lot of them. If they can’t muster up a performance against Liverpool, they never will.

It'll defiantly be a close game. I could see both teams going for a draw.

So, what we know so far for the first-team:

    Injured: Lindelof, Sanchez

Late Fitness Test: Martial, Smalling, Shaw, Dalot, Rojo, McTominay, Darmian

Fit: de Gea, Romero, (Grant); Bailly, Jones, Valencia, Young; Herrera, Matic, Fellaini, Pogba, Fred, Pereira; Mata, Lingard, Rashford, Lukaku

If by some chance no one passes the late fitness test, we can't even pick an 18 without choosing the likes of Greenwood, Garner, Chong or Gomes etc. I'd like to say the chances are high that at least 2-3 of them will make it, but knowing our luck none of them will and Jones will get injured on top

Our injury/lack of fitness is a big concern. And I am surprised (not really) that people are keen to discuss what Jose meant by house and furniture, rather than what kind of team we will be able to field on Sunday in such a big match. We could end up with an unbalanced formation if we don't have enough players fit by Sunday.

I'm just hoping that one of our defenders gets fit so that we don't have to play Jones

If Pogba is not going to start the game, we should go with a 4231 with Lingard in the No.10 role. He will be vital to our transistions.

Will park the bus, as usual, hoping for the best.
And we will win, they have to lose eventually. After that we'll continue playing like shit.

On form and league position not looking too good but i think we might pull something out of the bag.
Hope Ashley Young has a good game against Salah again and am also hoping Dalot plays as well against Mane as he did for Porto. It will be a big ask but I hope Dalot has a chance to deliver a few quality balls in the box and I'd be happy if Lukaku hit one of them sweetly and we win 1-0. Although obviously I'd like us to win by a few more.

What makes you say Pogba won't start? Have I missed something?

I think Salah will play as the striker in a 4-2-3-1. Firmino, Shaqiri and Mane as the 3, Henderson and Keita as the 2 and the VVD, Lovren, Milner and Robertson at the back

Liverpool haven't beaten us in the league since 2013. It'll be a shit show from us but not sure they'll spank us. The occasion is big and we'll play to the grandeur of it but cant see us winning. I'm going 0-0 or 1-1

    We must stay resolute.
    We must not break.
We must keep the bus parked, in front of goal and no matter what LFC do, to lure our bus away, we must keep the handbrake firmly, on.

If Jones plays, we know that we will concede at least 1 goal. Jones will absolutely, make a mistake, which will lead to a goal.
