That's that then. 3:1 to Liverpool and when a team has 36 shots against you know you've been well beaten. After Lingard equalised in the first half we held Liverpool at bay for much of the second-half but once Shaqiri's deflected shot made it 2:1 we were always going to lose this game. The Swiss international then added a third, via another deflection, to make it 3:1.

In truth we were miles off Liverpool today, have been all season. They won comfortably today and Alisson had so little to do he could afford to gift us a first-half goal. We are now 19 points behind Liverpool!! We languish in sixth while they top the table. Not nearly good enough.

Liverpool 1:0 Man Utd - Mane (24')

Liverpool 1:1 Man Utd - Lingary (33')

Liverpool 2:1 Man Utd - Shaqiri (73')

Liverpool 3:1 Man Utd - Shaqiri (80')

Deserved win for the better team with the better players and the better manager. Turns out actually trying to play football helps you win football matches.

The last United manager to lose a Premier League game to Liverpool was Moyes.

First time I’ve ever said this...

I want Jose Mourinho out of this club!

His tactics are shit and the players aren’t responding!

An attacking performance that a pub side would be embarrassed by.

Bye Jose. Your excuses don’t stack up at all. The players don’t want to play for you.

The team should be embarrassed, but Mou should be the first target. Absolutely embarrassing lineup, tactics, and it's sad to see him more of a pussy than LvG. Jesus

Not sure what else you can say that we havent this season? None of this is a surprise, entirely predictable as it's been since the end of last season and thats the biggest indictment on Mourinho. For so many to see it 6 months ago yet the manager failing to do anything about it is fecking embarassing.

The lads played exactly as how he wanted them to. If he complains I hope one or more have a go at him.

When is he getting sacked?!!!!!!!

90 minutes and no football from those in blue. Hopeless in every single department and the manager simply must be relieved of his duties.

end result was about what I expected. Cowardly set up, players who didn’t deserve to be in the lineup starting, poor defending, minimal attack.

A point scoring, dick swinging competition between Mourinho and Pogba

Ultimately, we're the ones who lose, not them!

Pretty bad and cowardly performance overall

Pathetic, cowardly display by not just the manager, the players also. Doesn't matter what manager you have, some of these players just aren't good enough to wear the shirt.

36 Liverpool shots to our 6 I believe?

Lingard apparently shut everyone up? Arguably the worst player on the pitch.

You can complain they were lucky but when they have as many shots as they did and we camp as many players in the box as we did it's bound to happen, not to mention our goal was complete luck as well. They fully deserved it, we were negative from start to finish and Mourinho has to go now, he just has to.
