Overall, I don't think Ole should've been sacked. The Ronaldo signing was a terrible mistake and totally fecked him.

He should never have been appointed in the first place he had no clue about modern football. Any sane manager would have vetoed Ronaldo.

I’m starting to sound a right miserable sod but I’ve had enough of these players, how can we not have a defined way of playing where everyone knows their positions and the players around them. We just throw 11 players out there and let them do what the want. Disgraceful.

yep.. I like to watch other teams because you can see what kind of style they’re trying to implement and how they want to work the ball, but I watch United and I’m just left with massive questions about what we’re actually trying to achieve in every part of the pitch, We buy a ball playing goalkeeper, but the defenders have no idea what they’re suppose to do when he has the ball, so they just walk away…it’s baffling,
it seems to be mostly left to chance and moments of magic

Well deserved defeat. No plan of attack, no composure, no organization. Honestly we’d do well to finish top half of the table at this rate.

We’re in an era where we are nowhere near City. They are a club plucked from obscurity and pumped with billions generated elsewhere. We are a club plucked from extreme success and milked for the billions that generated. Should have accepted that by now.
We have been terriblly mismanaged. Spending money hasn't been the problem - we have the one of the most expensive teams in the league FFS.

Agree with your point though, City are on a different planet to us.

It’s absolutely criminal that we can spend so much money and go through so many coaches yet get totally get bosses by a team that probably have a massive net positive on transfers in the same period.

Disagree his strength is easily nullified so teams instantly know how to play against us.
Disagree with what? It’s what happened today. And last game. Onana was supposed to be able to beat any press, allowing us to push bodies forward. He was also supposed to guarantee assists with his long passing. Instead, he stays in his box which means he has to rely solely on shot-stopping, and he’s not even in the same bracket as DeGea in that regard.

All the millions spent and we are left with another United crisis. We could spend £200m tomorrow and it will make no difference. And it is not just past spending it is current spending. Antony is an expensive mistake. Casemiro was given an insanely long contract and bought for silly money for a 30-something and had a great season last season but looks like he is going backwards quickly.

And I don't get why we needed Onana. And Mount for £60m?.

    Are we cursed?

Completely mismanaged. We should not be that far off them with our investment in the first team.
We've had no line of succession with our manager appointments meaning we have a mismash of players wanted by different managers for a different style of football.

Prime ddg? Agreed. If you're talking about the one that we released who has no club, well...

He bought already 10+ players. To expect at least good football is a minimum.
How many were on the pitch today? 6? Of which 1 was an emergency loan signing because we’ve got 7 defenders out…

I’m not going to say he hasn’t been backed, but he’s been massively hindered in the market and has to deal with us generally having shit luck with injuries.

Everybody said before the season that we’d struggle to score goals this season - it isn’t a big secret. I also don’t think it’s Ten Hag’s fault.

We are the worst run “big club” of all time maybe now under the Glazer’s post Fergie.

We have an extreme advantage over anyone bar City or cheat money Chelsea in the Prem and cannot get anywhere near a title for a decade. That is insanity.

Like our budget destroys Bayern etc on paper yet we can’t get anywhere near their level. Not even close. It actually makes no sense in a sport where cash usually wins 90% of the time.

We just don’t do the sporting thing now.

What you on about. The managers of the last decade have all played the same style- fecking shite

When a winger goes down the byline and cuts back there's only one area the cut back can go and yet nobody anticipated it

Exactly, this is basic, fundamental football that we've struggled with for years. More to the point, even from the sparse cameos I've seen of Pellistri, I as a United fan know that he prefers to stand up his man, then take them to the byline for the cutback. If I know it, his teammates certainly do. Unacceptable. That's all there is to it.

Subs that should’ve been made when we went down 2 nil. Taking Hojlund off also unacceptable.

I somewhat agree with your first sentence, but the second is laughable. Hojlund is coming back from injury, his minutes need to be managed, the alternative where we give him a long term injury for the sake of one match is what would actually be unacceptable.

Spending has been the problem. It’s not just the team that you spend on. City have invested in top footballing people to make footballing decisions. They’ve got the best scouts and coaches, and will have invested in the best science and numbers people. They’ve invested in top training facilities. United have just stood still for 15 years.

You wonder how divided this squad has become from being one that was very united. The Maguire camp, the Mason Greenwood camp, the Antony camp, the Sancho camp there will also be ones who did not like how DDG was dealt with. It might be a big problem.

We’re in an era where we are nowhere near City. They are a club plucked from obscurity and pumped with billions generated elsewhere. We are a club plucked from extreme success and milked for the billions that generated. Should have accepted that by now.

And they are also going to over take us in the trophy count quicker than anyone would have predicted and in the future no one will care how they got there.. because it will be the Norm by that point.

I’m really starting to think my 6th place finish prediction was too kind. This season is going to be a horror show if we don’t get wins away to Burnley and home v Palace. When do we play City is it in 3 or 4 matches? That’s a guaranteed loss.

I really want to have a manager for a long time but with the Glazers probably staying I think the pressure is even greater on the manager now. That was the bright light on the horizon so if they are still here and we have a piss poor season something will give and by experience we know that means the manager.

We don't employ best in class. Anywhere.

ten Hag was out coached today, badly.

Some progress that. Our start wasn’t even that hard either but with a lack of composure and selfish players up top we ain’t going anywhere.

We have actually had a tough run of games I think. After Bayern game it gets a little better.

That just about summed up a club badly run on the footballing side, players look unfit or not fit for purpose. Brighton deserved the win we deserved NOTHING. It will need relegation to reset this excuse for a football club.

It’s been this way for a long time, it has to be on all of them, players, manager & coaches. How can we not make sure one midfielder sits in front of the back 4 and just mops up and closes gaps, doesn’t bust forward leaving a huge hole. How can full backs and wingers not work as a team and make overlaps. It’s just simple basic stuff we don’t do. Midfielders who all jog back when the line is broken. I could go on, it’s pathetic.
