I think I'd rest the oldies (Valencia, Carrick and Ibrahimovic) for the trip to Turkey and go with:

    De Gea

    Darmian Smalling Blind Shaw

    Herrera Pogba

    Mkhitaryan Mata Martial

    Rashford

Would be my choice as well. I think Valencia will start over Darmian but I'm just not sure about his wrist. He was wincing pretty badly near the end yesterday.

I'm happy with any line-up as long as Mata starts and Fellaini (and preferably Lingard) don't.

We haven't won when we've gone a goal down, and haven't lost from a winning position (we did draw against Stoke). So hopefully an early goal, or else the prospect of trying to break Burnley down for 90mins. They're good at Turf Moor, but have lost every single away game so far. But that just sounds like one of those "favourable" statistics a commentator reads out before one of our games and as soon as he says it you know that we're immediately going to feck it up.

If Carrick isn't going to play I'd like to see Schneiderlin in the team with Herrera playing the 6 position.

3 in midfield with the wide players higher up the pitch and closer to Zlatan is the way to go I think.

    Mkhitaryan Rashford Martial

...is what I'd like to see. I assume that Mkhit won't start though so...I dunno....Lingard I guess?

Already posted in the Newbie match day forum but thought I'd re-post in here to share my view!

I'd actually like to see us play a similar team to Wednesday albeit with a few changes. Hopefully we really go for it this game.

I think Mikhi really needs to be at least involved in the squad, and I'd like to see Zlatan given a rest on the bench and go with Rashford up top (if fit). Mata should play after his performances this season, and I'd like to see Morgan have 45 minutes possibly in the second half.

I thought Rojo played well midweek too and should keep his place on merit and I'd like to see Martial brought in again, try and keep building his confidence. If Rashford is not fit, push Martial up front and bring in Jesse (agree with @Sparky Rhiwabon).

    Something like this:

    DDG
    Valencia / Rojo / Blind / Shaw
    Herrera / Pogba
    Mikhi / Mata / Martial
    Rashford

Mkhitaryan won't play this game. Just cross fingers that he'll be on the bench.

We'll see if Roo and Smalling are back (two less places on the bench) in the group, and how Mourinho will use the squad after 4 matches in 12 days

I think you're right and we won't see Mikhi, which would be a shame as a game like this against Burnley (where we are expected to be on the front foot and go for it) would be the best type of game to bring him back into the fold.

An other manager than Mourinho would play Mhkitaryan 30 mins tomorrow, then 60 mins against Fener and another 60 mins at Swansea and he'll get 90 mins twice with Armenia, and will come back fit for the winter race.

But Mou will let him on the stand, I don't know why ?

Perhaps, but the other wingers (Mata, Lingard, Martial…) are not so overplayed as the midfielders or the forwards, for instance, so there's less chance for Mkhitaryan now.

So, the whole purpose of the team is to maximize Mkhitaryan's performance? Give him minutes even if it doesn't make any sense strategically or besides other players performances? I'm all for Mkhitaryan and I think he's fundamental to our attacking football, but that kind of thought doesn't make sense.

Do you really think that Lingard is performing ?
Do you really think that Martial is performing ?

So we can hope havong Mkhitaryan, a player who scored 23 goals last year in our team for 30 mins ?

Blind and Rojenbauer. Made a good partnership against Ciy, why change?
Well, due to the games he played in a row, I believe Blind would be rested if there was an alternative.

Mourinho is definitively playing hardball with Mkhitaryan.
