I no longer trust most of the players to even turn up. A win here would give us a real chance of top four but too many of them don't seem to actual care

3-5-2 best formation to go with for me today.

    I’d play:

    ————————Heya————————
    ——Darmian—Smalling—Lindelöf——
    -Dalot————————————Shaw-
    ————Herrera——Fred——————
    ———————Pogba————————
    ———Sanchez———Rashford———

Think Darmian would help neutralise Hazard in the inside left channel, and I’m not really scared of much else.

Feel like the only chance we've got today is if Chelsea decide they hate Sarri again.

Whatever the relationship with Sarri, you would expect them to give everything for a chance of top 4 place, just like the United players do :wenger:

The logic is that over the previous 5 years he's been pretty much the best goalkeeper in the world and is going through a bad run for a few months for the first time in that period and you just have to keep faith a bit and he'll come back fine. People are mainly causing a fuss to drop him because they assume he wants to leave. Who is to say that he's just lost a bit of form and doesn't actually want to leave, and just needs a bit of faith and patience and he'll be back to normal?
Top 4 is still within reach, there is no room for mistakes or sentimentality. it's Oles job to pick a team that is most likely to do the job, right? It could be that Romero has shown equally poor form in training and that De Gea is our best choice at the moment but I doubt it.

De Gea is one of my favorite players in this squad and I find it ludacris that some are even suggesting that he's done and that we should sell him. The man has been a rock for us for so many seasons and I can't even count how many points he has single-handedly won us. All that said we have have three very important games left, we can't be sentimental and it makes no sense to play De Gea to find his form again when the season is essentially almost over.

De Gea could do great today, he is the best keeper in the world, just lost confidence for some reason but as much as I think Ole IS the man to take us forward this is the time he should show some balls and be ruthless. If you aren't performing, you shouldn't play. Ole keeps talking about standards at the club but still rewards poor form with games.

We absolutely need to win this. The amount of times we are being handed top 4 on a platter despite our incompetence is ridiculous.

Chelsea and Arsenal fans are saying the same.

    Probably Tottenham fans as well

No excuses about form, fitness, formations and anything else. Today is a must win game. This is the most important game of the season now and is essentially a cup final feeling. The big players need to step up and fight for the club. A loss today and it will bring all sorts of unwanted attention on OGSs Appointment, tactics and selection and the usual crap about Pogba. We need a huge game from Pogba, Herrera assuming he starts and Matic I’d imagine. Or strikers need to be deadly today. No excuses or Europa league, simple as that.

With Arsenal loss again, this match is a must win for us, if we win we have genuine chance of finishing top 4.

    Huge game this one.

A win this afternoon puts us right back into the race for top four.

    Come on United!

Unfortunately this game is too important to blood kids in. However it we don't win today he has absolutely no excuse not to play them in the last two games.
What does that actually mean though? That it's important so we need Sanchez etc on the bench? Because, like I said, what exactly are we getting from them players at the moment anyway?

If we'd have given the youngsters more chance to bed in already then I'd fancy the likes of Greenwood more than Mata to get us a goal.

I agree, I never undertsand this. OGS isn’t playing Mata or Sanchez and they are in bad form. The obvious subs for goals are Lukaku and martial, so why bring sanchez and mata too? Why not let Greenwood sit on the bench or chong. Both more capable than the latter.

Unless it’s because of their league, recovery etc...

    Top 4 season starts here.

Turn up 3 times, perform and win and, apart from Wolves in the FA Cup and Barca, it'll have been a great finish to the season.....

PS as long as the dippers don't win the title

The pay is only a small amount to be clear. Can't live off it of course but it helps.

Who is going to man mark Hazard? Depending on his form, we will win or lose this game. If Hazard doesn’t show up, we win comfortably. Pogba, Rashford, Lukaku, Martial and Sanchez will be too much for Chelsea to handle away from home. Only thing besides Hazard form that would make us lose this will be how we set up and silly mistakes. We need to be aggressive like we played early on against Barcelona and get an early goal. Once that, we set up with counter and finish Chelsea off.

So should we beat Chelsea today, then it seems that we are going to live to rue an Everton game all over again.

    11/12 Everton 4-4 - lose the title.

18/19 Everton 0-4 - miss out on Champions League

All we needed was one point to overtake Chelsea. Instead our goal difference has returned to shocking and we might finish 5th on it.

Yeah, I find hard to gather any hope after the last few weeks, but I've been surprised before.

I'd expect Herrera to start, if fit.

But i'd be extremely surprised, and worried, if Bailly start

Funny line up. Lukaku who doesn’t move and Bailly who has no clue where to move to still would move.
