Waiting to see how the usual bed wetters spin that to somehow be a bad thing for Utd.
TBF they have 30+ players so a third being injured doesn't change anything...

But even fully fit, they would stand no chance anyway. They are a disaster club this season and have long since given up, just waiting the season to run out. It's not a selection problem. It's like United last year once we got knocked out of the CL.

None of those players played against Citeh's reserve squad so expect them to doom about how the team that will play will be similair to the one that played ok against Citeh's reserve side.

Not being pessimistic. Just realistic. We’d be lucky to win by more than a single goal. A draw to me seems the most likely result. I can’t remember when we last had a convincing big margin win at OT.

17 of our 25 wins at home in all competitions this season have been by a 2 or more goal margin.

So there is a 2 to 1 chance of us winning by 2 or more goals than winning by 1 goal at Old Trafford if the season is anything to go by.

Holy shit, the pessimism in here is so boring to read. Some people need to learn to enjoy things in life. Not everything is a disaster waiting to happen. Chelsea are garbage and we're going to walk all over them.

put out the strongest side possible and get the three points so against Fulham we can basically give guys rest leading into the FA Cup Final

no point messing about and making the fulham game nervy for the players and supporters

In what way is this fixture ‘crucial’?
The only thing I could think of is that we can and should secure CL qualification. But I admit that's flimsy as we can do that on the last day anyway, and in any case it's absolutely meaningless for Chelsea.

exactly. Fulham are no slouches with mitrovic back. Dont screw around and then have a blunder moment by someone early that screws us or us holding on late with fulham or something and get sucker punched late. As long as we score first against chelsea we will be fine.

    Potentially 9 out for Chelsea:
    James
    Chilwell
    Mount
    Cucurella
    Broja
    Kovacic
    Kante
    Felix
    Badiashile
Can’t blame them. Feel for the players. All the intensity and energy they have invested this season on the pitch no wonder so many are injured. They need more players.

We don’t even need the 3 points. One point will be enough to secure top 4.

Other than that, I agree with you to basically get the job done against Chelsea so we don’t really need to worry about the Fulham game and we can rest a fair few of our starters in preparation for the cup final.

    De Gea
    AWB - Varane - Lindelof - Shaw
    Casemiro - Eriksen
    Antony - Bruno - Rashford
    Martial

    3-0 United.
We haven't scored 3 or more goals in several months.
What makes you think that now we will achieve this feat?

no we don't but playing for a draw is never the way to go about things

Can't we just *wink win* with Chelsea? There's no need to be so serious for Chelsea on their meaningless game.

I feel it'll be a tie game by 80' or so and we'll retreat into a shell and end up conceding late. Or maybe the PL will give a free pen to Chelsea to keep things exciting for final day.

I wouldn't be surprise with those feckers. I mean, the PL, not Chelsea.

A point needed to secure Cl, at home against the worst chelsea team in a long time, who have nothing to play for and have a temporary manager and several players out. Why do I think we'll find a way to take this to the final day/

I’d love it if we gave Lampard a nice leaving present of a 4-0 bashing. He’s such a tit.

I still get amazed when someone reminds me how many goals he scored (more than nearly all strikers). But he is a total bluffer and it annoys me what a media darling he became on the back of his being able to do the “I’m serious” face.

They cannot score to save their lives v. most clean sheets in the prem.

    1-0 ninjas
Them getting nil is good. Be nice for us to get a couple at least.

The closer the game gets, the more optimistic I get. It’s a curse.

Weird thing to feel giving how we've played at home. Only time I can remember a late game collapse was against the dark artists of Europa Sevilla with Martinez getting a freak injury and us having to go down to 10.

FA appointed Stuart Attewll to the match. He's been dodgy to us a couple of times vs Chelsea. He refused to give us a stonewall handball penalty against Chelsea a few seasons ago even after going to the VAR screen and supposedly told Maguire that he couldn't give it or he'd get media backlash. He also gave Chelsea a soft penalty in the reverse fixture this season.

Also Anthony Taylor is the 4th official.

Felix loves a goal against United and it'd have been typical for him to cause us trouble, so very happy he's out.

Given we've conceded 8 goals in 17 at home and 4 of them in 2 games, getting a draw at least should be very much expected.

However, I'd love to spank Chelsea because they so often jam a result against us, even this year in the reverse fixture.

Has Frank been sacked yet? Fully expect a shock "Poch to lead Blues against United" headline.

    James
    Chilwell
    Mount
    Cucurella
    Broja
    Kovacic
    Kante
    Felix
    Badiashile
Amount of matches those players have played in the Premier league for Chelsea this season. A few stats to go along with the appearances)

    James 16 (1 goal, 1 assist)
    Chilwell 23 (2 goals, 2 assists)
    Mount 24 (3 goals 2 assists)
    Cucurella 24 ( 2 assists)
    Broja 12 ( 1 goal)
    Kovacic 26 (1 goal 2 assists)
    Kante 7 (1 assist)
    Felix 14 (3 goals, 0 assists)
    Badiashile 11 ( 1 goal)

Near 40 on the Chelsea on Squad just a little bloated and another 20 players currently sent out on loan.
