Ok, changed my mind. United will beat Chelsea today with 70% possession and by a score of 1-0

Gone with the same back four as Stoke, Schmidfield, Ander as the 10, Martial/Mata/Rooney as the front three.

I picked the exact same, Fellaini, Carrick and McNair as our subs.

EDIT: actually I picked Memphis over McNair.

Despite the managers negativity .Think i'll go for a 1-0 win.
I admire your positivity in the face of this storm, but I can't imagine Van Gaal changing his tactics for what will surely be his last game in charge. If he was going to change, and play with attacking abandon, he'd have done it months ago.

    0-0 if we're lucky.

I think this might be difficult viewing today.

Reading the latest reports, and if they are to be believed, we are effectively managerless.

If I was Hiddink I'd be telling my team to go for United's throat. They have nothing to be wary of.

Nails will be getting banged in coffins all over the shop.

I genuinely think we'l do well today, schneilderlin & schweinstiger will make a massive difference for us. 2-1 United & LVG stays (yikes).

I'm confident that Herrera will be dropped. Fellaini too.

    Carrick-Schneiderlin midfield two.

    Possibly Pereira in for Memphis.

    Rooney behind Martial.

You think we will score 2 goals?

Despite our embarrassing form, I think we'll play them hard today. However, I have absolutely zero faith in us being able to grab a goal, unless we get a penalty.

Best case scenario is a 0-0, but more than likely Chelsea will win, and it'll be curtains for Louie

We could very easily be sitting 9th by Wednesday, haha.

hope Schneiderlin starts. It would be ridiculous if he doesn't.

That haha is so out of place.

There us no doubt in my mind we will play much better today. We have a couple of players returning which will help no end.

I still predict a us to lose but no matter what happens this has to be LVGs last game.

Definitely be a bett performance today. Could be a high scoring match, if both teams forwards are off the leash and the defenses make their usual hash.

So how will Old Trafford Greet LVG as he walks from the tunnel to his seat? Match Goers?

Whats the gossip in the Bishops Blaize?

He'll walk out with the rest of the subs/staff when the team are out and hide behind the chants for them. Would be very surprised if he did what Moyes did when under pressure and walk out first on his own, all defiant.

It would be kind of funny if Jose was sat in his seat when he got to the bench.

    That would be hilarious.
An argument would ensue, between Jose and Louis.

If Chelsea score first it's game over. There is no way we'll be able to come back . But if we somehow sneak in a first goal through a set piece or OG we might just somehow win this game.

Yep, Herrera will definitely be dropped. Doesn't Schweini play again since he is back from the ban? :smirk:

Pereira hasn't impressed me at all when he's been subbed on vs Stoke and Bournemouth. I'd prefer Memphis to be honest, he needs to get to grip with this league.

Schweini - Schneiderlin midfield aswell. Rooney behind Martial and Mata on the other wing.

Cant wait for the game, excitement on and off the field. If our players cant show some guts now, when then? Cant remember being that excited for a game in months.
