    A chance to put a bit of pressure on City. They've also got RM to worry about so can't put all their efforts into the league. 4th place could still be achieved but we have to win all our remaining games to have a chance.

    I think 2-0. Palace have nothing to play for, aren't in good form and have a cup semi final at weekend.....Well, At least we have something to play for

    Dull 1-0 win. Our goal will be a moment of brilliance from either Martial or Rashford as that's the only way we're ever gonna score against a deep-sitting defensive team like this. They will have just as much trouble scoring though, and we have the Dave factor.

    You know it's bad when you have an "easy" five team accumulator and United at home to Crystal Palace is the most you're most worried about.

    Three of their key players - Dann, Ward and Bolasie are rested...erm, I mean injured...for tonight. If we don't beat them now, we need putting down

    An even better stat (hard to believe but true!) is that we will be the best home team of the league across the last two seasons if we win tonight... ahead of City. Amazing, isn't it? Considering the dross we've been served for seemingly ages...
    Shows how crap we have been away from home..

    Not even in the squad?
    Pardew: "Yala has got a bit of an issue, Wardy will miss the game, Scott Dann is struggling and Joe Ledley has a knock, so we’ve got a few problems. They should all be OK for Sunday but they won’t make Manchester United.”

    Yala = Bolasie I believe

    Last season we won the tie because of Mata's goal. We looked clueless whole game and then Mata popped up with very good goal from outside the box.

    Palace will sit deep, crowd the box and will play on counter. Can see us struggling to break them down which happens every game.

    Hopefully Rashford's movement makes the difference.

    Had no idea Palace were so close to the relegation zone. I thought they were top 10 at least or thereabouts :confused:

    Anyone set for a laborious veiwing featuring the slowest and most immobile spine of;
    Blind
    Valencia
    Carrick
    Fellaini
    Mata
    Rooney

    Horror show awaiting to happen.

    They've been utter shit in 2016, their win against Norwich was their first league win in 2016. In 2016, they've won 8 points (1W, 5D, 9L) in 15 games which is the same amount that Villa gained (W2, D2, L11).

    Read a stat that Palace have failed to score against United in 10/13 PL games, 5/6 of which at Old Trafford. Guaranteed 0-0 then :D

    Yeah didn't realise they're form had been so atrocious. Surely, surely we can beat this lot.

    Has there been a worse slump by any other team this season? Were it not for a half decent start they'd be in Villa territory. Surely we can't lose? Surely...

    I reckon both sides will rest a few players, but I'm not sure who exactly.. I've no idea what LvG regards as his best 11 either. Palace have never beaten us in the Premier League and failed to score almost every time, so odds are this should be a 1 or 2-0 win. However, LvG does tend to blow these kind of records away..

    de Gea
    Valencia Smalling Blind Rojo
    Schneiderlin Fellaini
    Mata Rooney Memphis
    Martial

    Have a feeling we'll drop points here so I have £150 on Palace and £150 on the draw.

    2-1 win for the club which doesn't have cheerleaders. Late goal by Palace to make it interesting in the stoppage time.

    It's what often happens when teams with poor or thin squads get involved in long cup runs. There have been a few who've even been relegated after making cup finals.

    Palace will rest players and hope we do the same. Esp. Rashford can get this game off as the Everton game is 3 days away and a massive one.
