Funny post that. However I don't think it will be that exciting myself.
That's my best case scenario . I know all we will do is pass sideways and backwards till that one forward ball finds itself to Martial who will probably either create a goal or score one.

I would go back to last seasons formation just to try something different.

    Carrick

I think this is the week where things go wrong for English clubs in Europe once again.

Can see ourselves (Arsenal), City and maybe Chelsea losing. As for you guys, you're so inconsistent and unpredictable in terms of results. The only thing you can be sure of is that the game will be boring as feck.

I could see United winning but could just as easily see CSKA getting a result.

Jeez, I should get paid for this level of insight.

No way will Chelsea lose to Dynamo at home. They'll fluke a 1-0.

it's quite telling of how dull and ineffective in attack our team is when majority of prediction (at the time of the writing) is a 0-0.

predicted 0-0 for last game but will be a bit more optimistic this time and predict a 2-1 win, not necessarily convincingly. surely, surely we have to end our goal drought.

If we have to play Rooney I don't know which is worse, him ruining the attack or the midfield.

    Neo
    Darmian Mike Jones Rojo
    Schneidy
    Herrera Rooney
    Mata Martial Memphis
It won't happen but we could hide Rooney this way:

    Schneidy
    Herrera Schweiny
    Mata
    Rooney Martial
We're getting nothing from wide areas anyway right now. But it's probably best we don't start fiddling with the formation again, unless it's to go to a flat front 3.

    I predict:

First ten minutes we looks shaky with spells of possession.
After those first 10 minutes we pass around aimlessly for another 10 minutes before they quickly catch us on the counter and we are saved by one of Smalling or De Gea.
During a corner one of the opposition gets a header in but De Gea bails us out again.
Another corner, this time we counter using the fantastic pace of Schweinsteiger and Mata.
The counter fails, so we pass it backwards and the sideways till we get a corner.
Corner is scored luckily by Smalling or Schneiderlin.
We pass them to death till the half ends.

Second half starts off well. We get into the box but of course Rooney misses.
We dominate possession till the 70th minute when Fellaini comes on for no obvious reason. We hoof up to him a while.
In the 79th minute Martial dribbles passed two players scores.
For the next few minutes they continually attack but fail, making us look very shaky.
We get the ball and pass sideways till the match ends.
I'll petition your promotion if you're right;)

CSKA will park two buses on Tuesday, so yeah, it'll probably be a shit game.

Still, they aren't exactly convincing away from home (maybe apart from beating the euro-idiots City last season), so I'm expecting a win. We should press more and play at a higher tempo to make our job of breaking them down easier, not passing it at the back for centuries before losing the ball in a moronic way.

I mistakenly, like a fool, predicted that we'd score against Man City, Middlesborough and Crystal Palace.
    How wrong was I.

So, to hopefully get us to score, I'm going to predict that we will not score a goal. Hopefully, I'll be wrong again.

    Rooney won't be dropped. So:

    De Gea
    Darmian Smalling Blind Rojo
    Schneiderlin Bastian
    Mata Rooney Young
    Martial
1-0. Rojo from a set piece.

No goals in 300+minutes, barely a shot on goal, something has to give and I think/hope we'll see a veritable goal-fest as a result.

CSKA score first to light the touchpaper and it ends up 4-2/4-1 to United. Lingard gets his first goal somewhere amongst it all.

Dude, enough with the dramatic statements . We conceeded first against Wolfsburg and Southampton. Won both games!

If we don't score again, I think it's fair to say Caf members can freely start using the word ''embarrassing'' after the game, as it fecking well would be.

what planet is this coming from?

The last time United faced a deficit was a few matches ago in the last round. And they fought back from it. Facing deficits hasn't really been the problem lately.

Hope to see us play a quick football and have like 7-8 shots on goal. Oh what a dream that is!

    Easy prediction this:

    ---------De Gea--------
    Darmian-Smalling-Jones-Rojo
    Schneiderlin-Carrick------
    Mata-Herrera-Martial
    Rooney

Rooney to play 90 mins.. Mata to get subbed..
