So, who's in and who's out?

    Rafael?
    Smalling?
    Jones?
    Shaw?
    Di Maria?
Can only see Rafael featuring out of that lot and as much as I hope Rafael is back, I think he will stick with Valencia based on his match sharpness.

    -----WHOEVERAVAILABLE------
    -------------Carrick-------------
    -----herrera---------Fellaini---
    ----------Mata/Januzaj--------------
    ---Ronney-----------RVP--------

They are pretty slow so in all departments, januzaj is more preferable..
    Fellaini to mark Slippy Gerrard.

Do 34 people actually think we're going to win 5-0?

    RIP Phil Hughes
Surely Rafael will be back for this game. He has been training for a while now. Big lose in Smalling, in real good form and our back four started to look a little bit settled.

Liverpool has been showing a nasty performance since beginning of the season,so I think manchester united seems one step ahead against although the club has miscellaneous entanglements

I just hope we would have killed the game before Stevie G comes up with his customary goal and the freekick.

Carra, Neville and Solskjær in the studio on Sunday. Thank god they won't be having Redknapp and the prick Souness there.

Any news on Di Maria? If we could start a midfield three of him, Herrera and Carrick, i would be pretty confident about our chances.

Defence is a concern, but if we can put together a competent midfield, RvP continues to improve and Rooney brings his A-game i don't think it would matter.

I think Cap Jack has digressesed a bit, or am I missing something crucial about the upcoming game?

As shite as Liverpool are just remember we're missing two proper full backs and not average at best wingers, most of our CBs and our best attacking player Di Maria. Not trying to kill the mood of hammering them but those 3 points really weaken us.

However the ideal game for me would be a 2-0 win with De Gea pulling off another worldie save just to show the world why he's nearly no.1. :D

I think Fellaini should be given a rest this Sunday, Liverpool have soo much pace at times that he might not be able to cope and could get himself sent off. We don't have a Ji Sung Park type anymore or someone like him, although Fellaini comes close, but he is more like a 'Slow' Jing Sung
Park more than anything. We need someone to harass the opposition players when we're not in possession of the ball and allow the likes of Di Maria, Carrick, Rooney do their job. It comes as no surprise the fact that we've let opposition have a pop at our defense every now and again, also the fact that we have probably the lowest shot to goal ratio, furthermore, we've only managed to terminate/break opposition play from the front in only a few occasions this season and that makes it difficult to counter attack solid teams . Our attack is quite slow at times, but even if we manage to break forward you will mostly find that we do not have enough numbers in attacking positions, why because everyone is so focused on defending rather than a more balanced strategy. Herrera is a good option going forward, however, it is criminal to rely on him to do the dirty work, he doesn't have it in him, he's too rush and lightweight.
With all that considered, I don't see us play a more adventurous kind of play anytime sooner with the types of players we currently have, especially in the middle of the park. The diamond systems works because players can interchange and when we don't have the ball everyone is back defending. That said, I still wanna see Fellaini rested even though he's the closest thing to the type of player this team really needs.

Apparently Fellaini gonna create selection headache as he has been quite good this season.
But I'd love to see this:

    -----------------DDG

    Rafael/TonyV--Mcnair---Rojo---Young

    -------Carrick
    -----Herrera ------D Maria
    ---------ROONEY
    ------RVP---------Falcao

Atleast this side can hurt them.

Rafael's second week in the training photos, I'm fairly sure he'll start!
