City "fans" are very very confident. Bluemoon thinks they might repeat the 6-1. Most of them say they will beat us to a pulp and destroy the billion pound bus. Pep has also said something like united dont play well and still win. We need to smash these cnuts and put some sense back into the world. If we lose, the whole league's heads might drop and they can probably get 100 points. We have to put a stop to their momentum and show rest of the league that they can be beaten. I hope its going to be a 3-1.

3-2 United. We go 3-1 up, they pull another back and I'm in hospital with chest pains until Monday.

Read on a few news sites and footballing sites that sunday could be postponed due to heavy snow expected to fall in the area.

How long do they usually postpone these games for? A few days to a midweek? Or long enough for Pogba to serve his ban? :D

    1-0 to United.

After 94 minutes of unrelenting City pressure, 3 perfectly legitimate goals disallowed, 2 stonewall penalties not given, 1 red card for Aguero following 2 yellows for simulation, Martial pop up to score the single most dubious goal in the history of the game, marking the beginning of what will come to be known as "The Great City Collapse".

If the forecast is right then it'll likely be called off, sure Pogba will be doing a snow dab in the hope a reprieve for this one.

Aren't these things controlled by the broadcasters? In that case, it would be safe to assume, it's after Pogba's ban.

Imagine the bluemoon meltdown if Pogba gets to play the derby, and KDB and Silva are injured or suspended.

It's -1 as we speak and set to get colder.

Snow is all but guaranteed at this point.
It’s not at fratton park so you’d like to think the groundsman can keep the snow away but I guess it’s a safety issue for the surrounding areas to and from the ground. Shame really

Pogba is the milestone for having a dream of a win , no need to think about it , it is so obvious .

The problem is that even 1-2 City major players have a dead game , there are at least 2-3 more that can cover them - KDB , Silva , Sane , Sterling , Aguero..

Best case scenario is for the game to be postponed and City to lose to Tottenham. However, the weather being bad can play into our hands, because we want the game to be as physically demanding as possible.

Wont be replayed any time in December as our fixture list is jam packed. I'd guess it would be some time after mid January. Certainly long after Pobga ban has been served.

Do you know how many hours before the game it is before they would usually inform us if it’s getting rescheduled for another date ? I was going to call out of work to watch it since I just put in my two weeks notice and missing one day of work isnt a big deal at this point.

thats a tough one , all depends on how much snow we get.

Wouldnt they just do what they did with the bomb scare? Wasnt that just rescheduled a few days later!

Like some of you said, December we are jam packed fixture wise. That being said TV will have a big say on when it’s rescheduled as its their biggest game of the season. They may look at a monday night in January.

It sure as feck ain't gonna be played in December cause we have a game every 3-4 days for the rest of the month.
I hate when games are cencelled but we have so many this month I'd probably just spend the day in the wood shop without a 2 hour break.
So to answer your question, Yes, Pogba would have served his suspension before it's played.

that was the last match of the season, postponed games are always later in the season.

Feck postponing, we need to put pressure on them now or they could cruise along through December.
Especially when Kompany and Delph are now major doubts.
    Please God..

Is Jones coming back to the starting squad, and, if so, benching Lindelöf or Rojo?

I don't understand why in this day and age some snow would cause such a issue in the developed country during winter months, boggles my mind. It's not like UK locates around the equator, doesn't happen in any other country.

Indeed the snow is a welcome win-win scenario. Bad pitch for short passing or Pogba back in action! I'm hopeful the groundsmen will also help in making it a tougher pitch to play tiki-taka on!

Most of Europe has a mid season break because of the weather, we dont get bad weather enough to warrant it.
How often does a PL game get called off ( if it does) because of snow? it is pretty rare and when it does it is due to the surrounding road conditions.

    Yeah it could....but it won't.
When the game starts, we are expecting huge audiences and because so much money is riding on this match, whatever happens, it will go ahead.
Some sporting events are just too big to re-schedule and this match certainly falls into that category.

Pogba, Martial, Rashford, Lukaku, Ibrahimovic. Let's not underestimate the firepower we have at our disposal too. City haven't looked the unbeatable machine they did a month or so ago, and as long as Mourinho sets up properly, there is a hell of a lot of space to expose behind that high press. Rashford and/or Martial is key to this. Get it right and they could have a field day.

Just two weeks ago they were both awful. One disappearing act from Lingard with a bad team performance and he's back to it.
If a player is in form, we need to take advantage of that.
Lingard right now, is in the form of his life, so he should be played.

Postponing the game will benefit us as Pogba will hopefully be present by the time the game will be played, however I don't see any other team that can stop them now and their winning run will easily go on.

I say I prefer it to be played now. They somewhat looks vulnerable these previous games so it's our chance now.

Snow wont stop game from happening as under pitch heating system should be able to cope. Problem is if a significant number of fans cant make it because major local roads get snow blocked, which will almost certainly happen if snow is severe.

Doubt they will be happy to play in front of 20,000 fans.

I'm glad Jose has called attention to city's diving, but feel of all weekends it will work in reverse with Michael olivers self esteem issues and wanting to prove how he won't be influenced.

Strange that the purist of football isn't bothered by diving but is by teams playing defensively
