Ole has a good record against Pep in the league, expecting the worse but think we scrape a cagey draw. Ronaldo to score

Don't watch United with undivided attention these days, it's depressing. Distract yourself with a podcast or some music and you won't suffer as much. Thank me later.

City have been so poor as of late at least we have Ronaldo to bail us out

With Lindelof and Varane injured. He could drop McT in there, he plays in a 3 for Scotland. Then he can give Donny a start in midfield beside Fred.

I can see it being a tight game, Pep won't want another loss and Ole will probably stick with 5 at the back.

    Probably a 1-1 or 0-0.

    2-1 United.

I just hope Pep doesn’t start Sterling as I think we can live with Mahrez and Grealish but pace and directness in behind is what will kill us.

I'm surprised people aren't picking Cavani to start with Ronaldo.

I have a bad feeling it's going to be the same standard lineup with McFred in midfield and Bruno in front with Rashford, Ronaldo, Greenwood
This trio should never play together again in a big game.

    ................. De Gea

    Bissaka - Bailly - Maguire - Shaw

    Fernandes - Fred - Matic - Lingard

    .......... Cavani - Ronaldo

Forget about playing out from the back, and press high. Sitting with a back 5 trying to soak pressure would be a mistake, but if needed, Matic can fall back.

It's a derby which means we have hope. Weird things happen.

But I fear a pretty routine 2/3-0 win for City.
Our record against Pep is 3W 1D in the last 4 Prem games. So a 3-0 win for City would be unusual.

    Have faith!

I don’t think this will be as bad as you all do. We can win it, we have the talent but even a draw wouldn’t be terrible.
    I believe!
A draw yesterday was fine, but we need to win this one, or we´ll be 10 points behind Chelsea.

I would love it if we did the bolded bit. Watching De Gea ponder then make a five yard pass to Maguire who instantly gets closed down, is hearts in mouth every single time. Bloody ages me.

Oh for the days of Bailey launching it or Schmeicels over arm missile throws

Hope we go on and win but I have a real bad feeling about this one.

If they get the first goal which is probable then things might go ugly quick.

Hopefully this is the end for the intern but not holding my breath. Don't see a positive result here at all.

Don’t worry guys, a loss should keep Ole in the job. That’s all that matters :wenger:

I find City a really boring team to watch.

Seems that the majority of their goals are side foot tap ins from the 6 yard box. They score that same type of goal multiple times in a game.

I'm sure if you were a City fan you would be happy with that, but I find it slightly dull.

I'm not saying that scoring in the 91st minute is any sort of strategy for success, but from an artistic POV, it's nice to see a volley hit the back of the net, or a keeper lobbed from outside the box.

Leicester score great goals. And Chelsea. Salah v City was a belter, too.

This walking it into the net stuff is not for me.

I know that United have always favoured attacking down the left, but this is ridiculous.

Well Pep and the Barca mob are very boring. Tactic is keep pressing and nipping away until someone cocks up. Klopp has adapted it for Liverpool. It is like a boxer annoying his opposition into a mistake. Mayweather! A total pest of a man. That is what football is today.

The thing is Ronaldo and Cavani cut through these types like musketeers. Individual brilliance can defeat determined pesky team-play. Ole's style. The key for Ole is motivation, but he can't do it. Ferguson could do it, get inside you and make you boil. It won't ever work with Ole. He has the right idea but he just doesn't have the power.

Utd would be better off appointing Ronaldo as player manager. He clearly has the minerals and experience. I would like to see that before anyone else, other than Simeone.

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
They're due a win against us. Last season their performances against us were actually some of the worst I saw from them all season. The 0-0 they didn't look interested at all. At least in the 2-0 they absolutely peppered our goal with shots but were caught out in two of our rare forages forward.

Theyll probably hammer us and it'll be good riddance to Ole. So not all bad. Win win I guess. Either we win and you have temporary joy from winning a manchester derby or we lose and you expect Ole gets sacked.
We'll lose after a half decent performance which won't sack Ole. You just know it.
