Rashford, James, and Scott could use a breather. Play Greenwood uptop and move martial wide
I think Martial shouldn't play too. We have players like Mata, Lingard to play games like these. Greenwood, Lingard, Mata in the 11 along with Garner and Fred.

None of Greenwood, Gomes, Garner, Williams played yesterday. Looks like at least 3 of these will start this match. Greenwood, Williams and Garner is my guess.

    Romero
    AWB Jones Rojo Williams
    McTominay Garner
    Ramazani Lingard Chong
    Greenwood

    Kovar
    Laird
    Maguire
    Levitt
    Mata
    Pereira
    Martial

    2-0, next
Would love to see Ramazani getting first team call up but don't see it happening in this game. He played around 60 mins on monday.

Considering how poor our RW options are (excluding James) we should try to promote him.

It was him coming off after 60 minutes with no obvious injury that made me think he may well get a chance on Thursday even if it's just in the 18, and as impressive as James has been we can't keep flogging him(he's had no let up with Wales either) or he will eventually break-down, and Rashford could do with a breather as well.

Yeah, just a sub appearance would be excellent.

The kids has come on leaps and bounds since the start of the season, if somebody had suggested him before the season started as a first-team possible i'd have recommended sending the men in white coats out :D
Yeah, I was impressed with Brandon Williams this season and was glad he got the chance for first team. In the attack, Ramazani was like Mane and was very impressive.

    Think we should go with:

    -----------------Romero---------------------
    Jones-----Axel--------Rojo----------Williams
    -----------------Matic---------------
    --------------Garner-------Gomes---------
    Lingard----------Greenwood-----------Chong

I presume we will play Wan-B at right back and Jones at CB instead of Axel though. Also imagine Fred or Mctom will play instead of Gomes.

Expecting a very frustrating and dull night.

Chong played for the U23s last night so unlikely to be involved and Tuanzebe and Matic are out till after the international break.

I think Scott needs resting more than anyone! Our midfield options are ridiculous though! I’d play Jones next to Garner personally!

God knows what’ll happen over the busy festive period if McT gets injured?
One inexperienced midfielder next to another. That should seal the kiss of death on Garner's career. Need to partner Garner with our best fit midfielder, or, at least, someone like Levitt whom he's used to playing with.

I think it will be stronger than many think (youthful bench though).

Win this and you're on 10 points and all but qualified. Selfishly I'd prefer you to drop points so you then have to take 5-6 first teamers to Astana to get a result.

You play us 3 days after your Kazhakstan trip.

I wouldn't worry even our first choice XI is more than capable of being beat (see Palace and Bournemouth)

Just realised I got 17 points in the line up prediction game for Bournemouth. Seems mad that you don't get a bonus for predicting all 3 subs correctly, in the same way you get the 3 point bonus for predicting the starting XI.

We will win this 1-0 because it’s a nothing game

This team can turn it on when there no pressure

A thrilling low scoring game, probably a penalty
Liverpool and Chelsea were no pressure games fo sho.

I don's see any issue with an under 23 game on a Monday with a proper game Thursday.

Thought Axel and Matic might be back. In that case, it will be Wan + Mctom most likely.

OG left the club some time back.

I just want Greenwood, Gomes, and Garner to get a good amount of minutes.

“He won’t be fit for tomorrow, no. He got a knock against Chelsea and he didn’t come through the game against Bournemouth without a reaction so he will be out tomorrow.
