We are facing possibly the most inconsistent team in the Football League.

Sheffield United are regular game raisers in both major cup competitions, irrespective of how things might be progressing for them in the league. A replay would come as no surprise to me.

We underestimate these and there will be another added to the already-longish list of lower league clubs to embarrass us in a cup. But I've gone for my most optimistic result in months, 3-0 to us. Could come at the right time, we're suddenly finding our attacking feet and getting some confidence back, so with a good win here could set us on a good track.

Could we get to see Januzaj?
    Martial
    Januzaj -- Mata/Rooney -- Young
Mata is still a CAM for me and Rooney has woken up the last couple games. Young has really stepped his game up the last couple seasons too and while Martial still offers a lot from the left, he's never really been as deadly as he was the few games he played right up front. Hell, could even keep rotating, all are decent in all positions.

Well until he get's played that's always going to be the case, and this is a cup match against Sheffield United, if we can't afford to take one risk on a youngster we don't deserve to progress anyway. Besides, doesn't have to start.

The last time we played Sheffield United was in 2007 - the scorers? Carrick and Rooney.

I don't even remember Carrick ever making runs into the box like this!

    Good times :)

    Gone for 1-0.

Memphis should start this match if LvG wants to make any effort whatsoever towards rebuilding his confidence.

    Young - Smalling - Blind - CBJ
    Morgan - Carrick
    Periera - Rooney - Martial
    Memphis

Januzaj to come off bench. I'd give Memphis a run out up top to try get him a goal and a bit confidence.

Feels like we've been on international break. Long week. Looking forward to more matches. Wish this was a league match though.

We need to keep Herrera and Rooney in so they hopefully build on last week. Add Depay. Doubt we'll see Januzaj in this one. Rest Mata and play Young on the RW and let Darmian play RB, or is he injured?

Time to play Schneiderlin at CM role and Carrick at his usual role on top of defense.Hope Pereira gets chance to start this one.

Can Januzaj play this game? Should he be in the line-up prediction game?

No the prediction only includes players with sufficient match rhythm.

damn. this match is on Fox Sports 2. I have Comcast. And I don't believe its on there.
You may be able to stream it via Fox Sports Go (online), by signing in with your TV account. I can't afford a telly subscription but my parents have DirecTV and I use their login to watch all the Fox games which covers both FS1 and FS2.
