Doesnt matter who plays.... We will control possesion and maybe have 1 shot on target after 35 mins.
West Ham will be presented with a golden chance just before half time that DDG will save. First half will end 0-0.
Second half will see us control the game again and we will have our second shot on target near the 60th before we panic, bring Fellaini on upfront and drop Rooney into the midfield. We lose control of the game - unable to keep hold of possesion with the panic tactics.... If we are lucky we will score a goal and win 1-0.
LVG will be happy with the performance and smugly address the press after the game. Us fans will moan, Scholes will say something along the lines of we are shite and G Nev will claim its our most impressive performance.

It's too early in the week for predictions but at least we're not catching West Ham in their top form.

I'd like to see Herrera and Rojo back for this one.

    I expect a draw, don't think it will be 0-0 though - I'll go for 1-1.

    Love 3pm kick offs.

Multiple games on. And this season more than ever I'm finding myself tuning in to other games. Used to just flick over and see the scores but we're so boring our opponents lull to sleep.

One full week for some of the injured players to recover. Hopefully a better defense, and a better side (but that won't happen)
Even if LVG is not a man that changes his team, we would new fresh legs going to Germany the following Tuesday, so I hope few changes

    -------------------------------------De Gea----------------------------------------
    Darmian------------------Smalling--------Blind------------------------------Rojo
    ---------------------------Schneiderlin----Carrick--------------------------------
    Memphis------------------------------Mata----------------------------------Young
    --------------------------------------Martial---------------------------------------

If it means LVG is is sacked, would you want us to lose?
He wouldn't get sacked if we lost this anyways. The only way the board might be remotely tempted to do it early is if we get knocked out of the CL, Which might be pretty soon anyways. Even then I think he will get until the end of the season, I don't see the benefit of sacking him earlier, and this coming from a guy who would happily dispense of him if we got the right manager to replace him (and not Ryan Giggs before you ask).

Slaven Bilic always parks the bus against big teams. Should be fun:rolleyes:

Bilic is obviously going to park the bus. If we don't score early or in the first half it will be another frustrating game.

So, just like every other game we've played?
Not quite... I think this one will dive to new depths.

Bilic seems very keen to set-up his team in a direct response to whoever he's playing - especially against the top clubs. He'll just sit back, flood the middle, and shut-up-shop - with an obvious intent to counter, but without Payet I think they lack the cutting edge to hurt us in that regard, thus it'll be a really tumescent afternoon where very little happens.

Hopefully I'm wrong - and the fact that we're at home - where the crowd will urge us to do something in the last 10/20 minutes should the above scenario arise... but as the PSV game showed, that doesn't always make difference.

    In an apple vacuum...
I have a strong feeling that this match will be shit on a stick.
I'm expecting a win with us playing about the same level as we did against West Brom a few weeks back ie. bang average. Payet is a big miss for them so hopefully with the defence looking decent these days we'll keep a clean sheet, it's just whether one of our not so awesome foursome can scramble the ball over the line in the final 1/3rd of the pitch.

I have kinda lost that excitement I used to have every week especially getting closer and closer to a match. Never cared who the opponent was. The fact that there is a possibility that we might 2 to 3 goals. Now if we score 1 goal Im like "Oh we actually scored" or "what a surprise".

Honestly, one week to rest up and prepare so there is no excuse to not win this game. I'm hoping to see a good performance and hoping we score more than 2 goals in this.

The least talented English international to ever grace the Earth vs the most off-colour one atm. Both leading the line... Should be tasty. 2-1 United.

Will be a difficult game for united, west ham have been good away at the big teams, have 9 points from arsenal, liverpool and city.

Doesnt change the fact we are boring. Why cant you accept that?
I fully accept that. Despite that I do not want LVG to be sacked but that's a personal choice I agree. What boggles mind is how anyone could want us to lose given that this is such an important game for us just so that they see LVG sacked!
