Hahahahaha Valencia deserves it he tried he runs, but Valdes poor boy.
Yes, I kind of feel bad for him. That was embarrassing. I like that we scored, but I really cringe when goalkeepers get humiliated like that. It will be replayed again and again. He will have a hard time getting over it.

he obviously does not respect the boro board for what they did.
Or maybe he knows something about that assistant coach and what happened behind scenes. I mean maybe he would do the same if Karanka was in shoes of Ranieri for example.

Oh snowflake.. You think that goal came because Mourinho made a defensive sub? One glance at his trophy cabinet and you will realize he probably saw all that pressure incoming with tired defenders and midfielders and actually limited the damage to just one goal. That's the good thing about being a world class manager. You see things that the average posters on redcafe will not.
Well the cross came in because we pushed back and played defensive. Proactive reactive thing. We can't do this in big games because we don't have the squad to play that way.

The best part about Mourinho dancing down the tunnel was the look on the Middlesbrough's officials faces.

I'm this fecking close to smash my TV.

What the hell is going on with Mourinho? Why in the name of God are we playing 8-2-0 against fecking M'Boro? I could accept it, if it was Barcelona, but it's M'Boro.

This is laughable to do, Mr. Mourinho. What a coward man ...
That's word that came to my mind. A coward. Even in the first half, United would only have two players supporting Rashford in the box - usually Mata and one of Lingard or Fellaini. The other one usually 25-30 yard from goal.

As soon as Mata came off and he brought a defender on the entire game changed, and not for the better. We invited pressure and inevitably conceded. Not sure how anyone could back that substitution after those last 20 minutes against a side who hadn't scored in over 8 hours.

For half a second there I wasn't sure Valencia was going to score. It looked like he would wood leg it over the line with that first touch but he managed to pull back. Idiot.

Disappointing from Rashford. Offered no outlet when we were under pressure. Fluffed his lines all match long. Needs to improve quickly or will find himself out of the team. Especialy with the rumours of Griezmann.
I get what you mean about missing chances but who doesn't in this team? We can't rely on a teenager too hold the ball up when there is no one around him though.

Only bt if cheer? How about 2 more goals and a win.
    we should have hammered them.

They did not have a defence to speak of.

    awful forward line.

And we actually allowed them to win balls in midfield.

A good football match is about controlling the game.

We won because Boro absolutely deserve to be where they are.

But we were all over the place. Why? Because without Pogba and Herrera we crap.

Bullshit. You are seeing the result and us scoring a goal and reacting to that. Whatever the result it does not justify making the game into their attack vs our defense.

That towards the last 15 mins was pathetic in my opinion. Just because you have more defenders doesn't mean you are more secure. Just invited them to put balls in...in the end that's how they scored. That goal is entirely due to us changing the pattern of play by taking Mata off and putting Rojo on.

    "Mourinho is playing the United-way."

"Mourinho has brought back the joy of watching United"

I didn't knew that my club was a coward club if this is the United-way. I would rather prefer LvG dreadful possession over this shit.

I'm lost for words. 8-2-0 against M'Boro. Not Bayern, not Real Madrid, not Barcelona, but fecking M'Boro.

Get the feck out of my club, MOurinho. This is laughable man. We play like a small club, trying to beat a superior team.
Chill . We are not playing like this when fresh

Questioning a formation or line up says f all about not supporting your club. If you don't notice that team is weak you aren't paying attention, nothing wrong with commenting on how weak it is, I'm sure everyone will be cheering on as always.
Wasn't talking about a formation or line up, in case you didn't notice there were a bunch of deckers just saying we will lose or draw. Wasn't commenting on your posts but the thread, deal with it.

He was screaming at the defence to push higher up the pitch, he might be finding something out about his defenders. I think a couple of them are on thin ice.

...he probably saw all that pressure incoming with tired defenders and midfielders and actually limited the damage to just one goal by bringing on an extra defender. We would be sat here discussing a draw now had Mata stayed on the pitch oor had been subbed for a player who isn't tall enough to connect with headers. That's the good thing about being a world class manager. You see things that the average posters on redcafe will not.
I was beginning to think that I was the only one who was thinking along these lines.

The crosses came in because the Boro team finally stopped passing it around and started kicking it long. Every team does that in the dying minutes. Don't need the opposition to drop back in order to hoof the ball in from half way line.

We can't do this in big games because the big teams will havr far more ammunition at disposal than just lumping the ball in penalty area. Don't this Mourinho will go for it in such games.

What happened in the tunnel? Some commotion in the tunnel. Looks like Bailly is pissed off at that Boro player.

Maybe a manager whose very job it is to study opposition, watch tapes and study tactics knew what was coming.

I think a lot of it was to do with fatigue. A dinnertime k.o. was ridiculous but we still won. Now an international break to get the injured fit, some to get a rest and just hope we don't pick up more injuries.
