Fecking atrocious performance so far, no fight or heart. Get the boot stuck in LVG to them players. If we lose this I doubt we will see half these players playing again this year. Disappointing but there is a half to put it right.

Theres just no pace at all in our passing which is annoying the sh*t out of me. They're just strolling it around with no intention to create anything.

Feck the 3-5-2. Our players actually don't get the system. It's obvious. Switch back to 4-3-3 our 4-2-3-1 and we'll win this match.

5-3-2 is so easy to defend. It's built for teams that are going to dominate the ball so you can rush 'em on the break. Against 'weaker' sides it's utterly useless.

Hernandez is like playing with 1 less player, he slows down the game, pointless offsides and seems totally off his game. He doesn't even look that fast anymore.

Started off okay and then once Evans cocked up, we lost the little confidence we had. Thought Powell started well, Keane too. Welbeck done okay with little support from Hernandez. Don't see the point of playing him. Would sooner have Wilson on there. Anderson hasn't done that bad either. Hit a nice first time ball that Hernandez first touch let him down on. Janko hasn't done anything other than a couple of fouls and a valencia'esq cross. James hasn't got in the game much.

There's nothing surprising here tonight, it's going to be a long season ahead.

Have to say I am getting pissed off seeing LVG writing notes the whole time rather than looking at the game! I was hoping he would bring back passion to the bench but it's like a fecking morgue. Yet anothe United game during which I could easily turn over, read a bok or go to bed. The only thing worse is SDavid May's pundditry. Every question is met with "You'll have to ask the players/the manager/someone else. And he's paid for that shite...oh and someone should put the pies out of his reach!!!

We really really need to have Wilson on if we ever want to get back into this game or at least stand a chance
Hernandez just doesn't offer enough on the pitch when he starts, or doesn't score. I fear for his career at United.

To be fair it's not a first team of Utd players out there. Van Gaal is probably using this to assess the remainder of the squad.
The first team has performed the same so far(although it's been 2 games and we've had loads of injuries).

If someone was able to take a shot or cross without hitting the first man that'd be nice.
How do you expect them to do that when our first team basically never gets their cross past their first man? :D

So many players need a rocket up their arse.

LVG has a tough job now. Surely it can't be hard to force players to pass quicker than an under 8s team

Not sure what system has to do with players inability to control the ball and make simple passes... We lose the ball way to easily

Formation is part of the problem but our ability to control the ball and pass is pretty shocking, even from a reserve team
It's not the passing, it's the movements without the ball, the ball carrier is always forced to try a "Xavi quality" pass. And we are outnumbered everywhere.

I would say that Powell, Anderson, and Welbeck have been our best players so far.
Powell didn't do a single thing right in that half. He's been easily bullied off the bal and his long range passing is rubbishl. I don't know what you're watching

I want to see one hell of a response in the second half. Otherwise a few of the older players need to culling.

Absolutely awful. No movement off the ball, there all waiting for the ball too come to them instead of going too the ball. There is literally no movement off the ball so we are constantly passing to players under pressure. I have never seen a United side so slow at counter attacking.

If we only have determination and desire we will see them off, But we didn't even test their GK ffs. It should be a machine gun in dressing room not just a hair dryer.

So many people whining about the formation. It's the players. Powell keeps losing the ball. Hernandez is clearly off form, and Welbeck is trying hard but just not good enough. Once Kagawa went off, the link between midfield and attack disappears. Anderson is running and trying to win the ball back, but otherwise, he is not really doing anything else.

We have a real problem with this bunch of players. It's almost as if they don't have the brains to play.
