Me too. I’ll be disappointed with a draw - even though it isn’t the worst result, we should really be winning against these.I wont. We need to bring back at least a one goal lead.

If we want to go far in the Champions League and prove to Europe we are a good team, we have to go in there and beat them. Simple as.Not easy.
Sevilla are near unbeatable in their home stadium.
Betis put 5 past them a month ago, and they're not quite the attacking force they were a few years ago. We should be able to win both legs if we're focused and willing to exploit their weaknesses. I think we'll edge it in the end.If we want to go far in the Champions League and prove to Europe we are a good team, we have to go in there and beat them. Simple as.
Hey Jose, just play Sanchez near the goal and pick the rest of the team randomly.
The only problem with that line up is jones is injured. And you should have played DDG as a number 10.Martial
Jones - Matic - Valencia - Mata
Lingard - Lindelof - Bailly
Pogba - Sanchez - Lukaku
Kinda defeating the principal of random selection there champ. The only problem with that line up is jones is injured. And you should have played DDG as a number 10.
I mostly agree. I do think two of Herrera, Lingard and Mata will start but not sure which two. Leaning towards Herrera and Mata at the moment. No Jones/Rojo means Smalling 100% starts. Does Bailly get thrown right back in, or does Jose put some trust in Lindelof? Odds are this is the team IMO:
de Gea
Valencia Bailly Smalling Young
Herrera Matic Pogba
Lingard Lukaku Sanchez
---
Romero; Lindelof, Shaw; Carrick, Mata; Rashford, Martial
Yeah, they sacked Berizzo and hired Montella. The biggest surprise with Sevilla was seeing that Nzonzi still plays for them. The guy himself said he would not play there again.
Did they change their manager?
Yup. Herrera alongside matic and pogba should be the go to midfield for big games (especially in spain), while for the right wing it'd generally be form picking between lingard, martial, rashford, Mata. Mata for his experience and composure should get in IMO. Plus has the best understanding with Valencia and Herrera and can help dominate the right side.I mostly agree. This. Feel like forever. Miss feeling forCL KO round. Finally less than 24hr before kick off. Can't wait for this game. To think that's it's been four very long years that we've been in the knock out stages of the champions League, hopefully it'll be routine from now on
I know Lindelof has been shaky but at the same time Mourinho seems to trust players based on past experience - Lindelof is both more familiar with continental Iberian style footie and has the CL experience. In other words - if its between him and Bailly I can see Lindelof getting the nod.No Jones/Rojo means Smalling 100% starts. Roughly two-thirds of teams that draw the away leg 0-0 end up winning the tie at home. It's a very reasonable result.0-0 away from home in the first leg is a shite result. feck that - let's go out there to score anyway.
We recently lost 1-0 to Newcastle so there's that but yeah, we really should go through. There would be no excuses if we lose this one. They're not a great team.

They're 5th in La Liga aren't they?Me too. I’ll be disappointed with a draw - even though it isn’t the worst result, we should really be winning against these.
It's too risky. If you're 1-0 up at home in the second leg, the final 10-15 minutes are utter torture. Literally any goal you concede then is fatal. With at least one away goal of your own from the first leg, it's fair more comforting.Roughly two-thirds of teams that draw the away leg 0-0 end up winning the tie at home. Hey, I'd prefer a fun game to a dour 0-0. But it's still not a shite result, based on statistics: in the clear majority of cases it's good enough to progress. It's too risky. Yes it is,but maybe we should try enjoying these big European nights even more.Back in the day when we would sleepwalk our way through to the last 8,we never really savoured Europe,it almost became routine...When you put it that way, it's just unbelievable for one of the biggest club in the world.
Sorry no. However, your current location coupled with your tagline made me chuckle.I'm in Vietnam atm, does anyone know what channel it's on?
