Reeks of another Mouriniho big game. This isn’t the first time we’ve conceded in literally the opening seconds. We have too many clowns who are more interested in their Snapchat story -showing no composure, concentration, fight, professionalism or maturity. So brainless.

We will resort to lumping it to Fellaini like we have in every big game under Jose.

we've had an awful fifteen minutes. I'm not sure what the team is trying to do. Kane has had two decent chances in that time, we've created none.

If Martial starts the second half on the right I'm going to call Mourinho a twat under my breath.

Game over. Best we can get is lose 1-2 or something.

Put Fellaini for Lingard and switch Sanchez and Martial positions. We should never play 4-2-3-1 in a top game again. Matic is terrible under pressure and needs other legs beside him. Jones and Smalling are absolutely shite on pressure and can't get the ball out of the back so we need Fellaini for the hoof ball.

    Shite game.
Give over, there’s 45 minutes of football to be played. We’ll make changes and hopefully pull our finger out of our arse.

Truly, an awful performance. That group of players should be well embarrassed and ashamed of themselves.

I'd be tempted to make three halftime changes - Fellaini for Lukaku, Rojo for Hones and Shaw for Young.

Spurs are a powerful but they don't have better players than us. We have been clueless in our build up play and Matic especially has been shocking. Jones and Smelling are big but brainless. Young has been terrible as well. I can't blame any of our attacking players. They've been let down by the defence so far.

Couple of problems - we are playing with a very unbalanced team

    1 ) Matic is tired

2 ) There must be someone next to Matic , like Fellaini ( on Lukakus' place) and Pogba to go little bit forward

3 ) Martial must be forward , Alexis left and Lingard right

how many times has lukaku been offside compared to how many touches he's had? he seems not to know the rule

Pogba has been such a fanny in this game
He lords it against the weaker teams but disappears against the better teams. He is a decent player but he has a long way to go to get anywhere near world class.

If we took him off and did not replace him no one would notice and that is pretty much the same in all the big matches he has played for us against better quality opposition.

Nope. Lingard is not a central midfielder. End of story.
Yet he's probably been amongst our better players so far. Lukaku, Matic and Pogba have been naff casually letting Spurs walk through our midfield, and our defence have all had decided to sync up their brainfarts. Granted he should have picked Shaw ahead of Young in hindsight, but its not like Young has been poor prior to this game.

Ok we gifted them a goal, which immediately fecks up everything, but we are too open. Should have played a 4-3-3 and kept it tight like we usually do against a good team away from home.

Game is passing Pogba by. Sanchez has been trying to make things happen, but keeps running infield when defending leaving their right side completely open.

Get a draw out of this and we would be doing well. Pity we conceded so early because we look good in patches. Jones having a mare though.

    Jones. Sell. Smalling. Sell.

Shaw on for Young and Fellaini on for Lingard. Right now.

You're right. He should've parked the bus.
Our players are not ready to play an attacking style of football, against a top 6 side.
Nothing wrong with the players in attack. You can't just become an attacking team overnight they need to be coached how to do it. We don't look coached at all in possession - just looks like random waves of brilliance. It's not good enough.

We looked promising and like we could do something up until the second goal, after which we’ve been absolutely terrible.

Pogba is absolutely lost out there, and doesn’t look like he knows what he should be doing, and worse, like he can’t be arsed. Mystifying.

Lukaku has also been far below par.

I don’t know whats more annoying, the fact we’re left with Jones and Smalling at centre back or the realisation we spunked a ton of money on Rojo and Lindelof. I ask myself if i would rather them two play but I wouldn’t be confident in them either.

Would rather Matic came on at CB in the second half for Smalling or Jones. Imagine being our forward line and knowing you have them two behind you.

Absolute nightmare conceding those goals, we were much the better team for large parts.

I don'y like Martial on the right, or Pogba for that matter. And what is Sanchez doing sooooo deep all the time?

We still look dangerous. Need to take control of the midfield though. We still have hope.

We need to go out all guns blazing in the second half.

Forget the formation, a lot of players have not come to the party. Jones, Smalling, Young, Matic, Pogba, Valencia. Lukaku has hardly had the ball so I will spare him.

Shite that. Really was excited for this game.

Just awful. How disappointing to concede after 11 seconds and to an own goal.

I have no confidence in any of our players to score a goal, I actually don’t.
