It wont be anything but this, Ole wants the job full time, he wont mess about with a winning team.

He lit up the pitch though and that’s what counts

Missed getting my XI in on time. Here it is:

    De Gea
    Young Jones Lindelof Shaw
    Herrera Matic Pogba
    Sanchez Rashford Martial

Maybe it's Lingard over Sanchez but I suspect Ole will unleash the Chilean and keep Lingard at his disposal should he need him in the second half.

Ill burn £100 if Fred starts - there is zero chance of that happening.

No Fellaini in the squad. Does Ole really have zero use for him or is it just to prove a point that he isn't like the other managers.

He's injured, isn't he? If not, surely he should be in the squad. People can say what they want about him but he has bags of experience and is better coming off the bench than any other of our midfield options, in my opinion.

Just check for timezones earlier than the UK, the match has probably already finished in some places!

Probably aware what most fans think of him so in the interests of giving fans what they want leaving him out.

I don't mind Fellaini like some but Ole would be right to only turn to him when we've shown we might actually need him. So far thats not been the case.

That’s what I like to see, players who have earned their place staying in the team.
Jose would’ve shoehorned Lukaku back into the team weeks ago.
  36. Jan 13, 2019

    Tottenham Hotspur team
Starting XI: Lloris (c), Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Dele, Son, Kane
Subs: Gazzaniga, Rose, Sanchez, Foyth, Skipp, Lamela, Llorente

    Manchester United team
Starting XI: De Gea, Young (c), Lindelof, Jones, Shaw, Herrera, Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Rashford, Martial
Subs: Romero, Dalot, Andreas, Fred, Mata, McTominay, Lukaku

Just nine changes from the victory against Reading with De Gea, Lindelof, Shaw, Herrera, Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Rashford and Martial coming in for Romero, Dalot, Darmian, McTominay, Fred, Andreas, Mata, Lukaku and Alexis.

    11/11. Nice.
Exactly the team I expected, and our best available 11. Worried about our defence, though - Spurs could score a few today. Fully expecting Jones to have another massive brainfart that costs us a goal. Also expecting us to fare well in midfield and cause them problems, too.

    3-1 Spurs, maybe 2-1.

Good XI. What we all expected, but it's always great to see the manager getting the obvious things right as well.
