Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
Looking at the Spurs lineup vs West Ham makes you realise how weak they are these days. I think, regardless of what Ole says or does with the team, if the players are interested then they'll find a way to beat them. Their defence and midfield looks shocking.

As others have said though, I hope the results in the next 3 actually have no bearing on Ole's fate as it is beyond clear now that he'll never match the top teams over a season. If we are doing our jobs and speaking to other managers right now, which we should be, then we need to see through those plans.

Spurs are tired after their Carabao Cup match and they only have 3 days to the next match. United players will nick it for Ole.

We are pretty terrible right now, I think you will win easily.
We just put in the worst team performance of the Premier League era.

It will probably end up being a matter of who is least bad on the day, but there's a fair chance that will be you.

The big problem for me is even if we beat Spurs is that everything ok now? If we Beat Atalanta 3-2 again and somehow manage to draw against City what would that mean ?

The problems I am seeing are not something you think could just be fixed in a week unless it was a new manager and coach with completely different ideas and style, are Ole & his coaches going to tear up their current coaching plans and just start from scratch? This has been nearly 3 years of work now they are not magically going to be able to completely transform all of that in a week or two.

    Have become numb now.

I believe we can and probably will win the game. However, given the incompetence of our board, I see him being afforded more time which hampers our season. So regardless of the result, its not a win for us anyway.

Ah, so he's one of these needs a couple of quality midfielders around him merchants.

    Just like Pogba does.
    And Matic.
    And McTom.

At some stage we need the actual quality mid in the team!
Well it would help if he actually got to play in his proper position. Just like if maguire were suddenly playing left back. Of course Fred needs a good cdm so he can play his natural position. Then judge him. I think he’s actually be pretty useful. No way near as bad as some make out. If the rest of the cogs functioned a bit better he’s be a smooth part of the machine. He likes to zip it forward, he’s fast around the pitch, good at getting the ball back. Remember when he was good? He was a vital part of the team. He’s always the scapegoat but he’s levels above McTominay who is goddamn awful right now. Stinking up the place with Maguire yet playing every game. But both of em have a huge job on their hands when Pogba and Bruno are half a pitch away from them and they’re alone in midfield. Just shocking tactics.

It’s a horrible position: wanting us to win because I support the team and don’t want us to fall further behind. But knowing the win could keep Ole longer. I wish I could believe in him and nothing would give me greater pleasure than seeing him lift a trophy. But I just don’t see it anymore. It’s like this horrible drawn out bad relationship. The sooner he’s out the better so we can all move on.

They’re not, no. But it will probably mean the Glazers will keep him. And the numbing pain will continue.

Without any sort of clear communication at all from the club over the past week, we're all in the dark right now. I think they are just hoping Ole can come out of these next 3 games with something they can spin as positive and keep him in position. Right now they are, according to reports, supposed to be talking to other managers. But I have a feeling they probably aren't, instead have just played United fans with these leaks to remove some pressure and buy Ole 3 games to do anything right, at which point they'll get the PR machine back on the job.

Honestly, would anybody else bet their house that the club have even approached any other manager? I fecking wouldn't, and that is a crazy thought for a multi-billion pound business. These guys, from Woodward, the Glazer, down to Ole and his coaches, are just playing at this really. They make a damn good living off our name, don't have any expectations to actually be good or the best at their jobs, and can just turn up and earn a tonne of money. That is exactly why those at the top don't rock the boat, as long as we can put a semblance of a good team together and keep the coin coming in, they're happy.

Ole being in charge after all that been this week is a fecking joke.
The players will hopefully be up for this and at least make a game of it, but what about those that voiced their concerns.
I never want us to lose and never will, but I really cant see us getting much if anything from the game.
The atmosphere will be toxic, the Spurs fan will be ripping the piss.
Draw is most I expect here, hopefully I am way off the mark and we go out and destroy them.

I remember last year two teams (i think one of them was Liverpool) played 3 games back to back without much rest and still beat us. The training must be exhausting because even with a week rest we are still exhausted.

Ole is never going to make a lot of changes. That would mean he does not trust half the squad which is rubbish. Instead, he's going to dig his heals in and play the same team with 1-2 rotated.
We'll probably see Varane back and possibly Matic partnering Fred. The front will be Rashford Ronaldo Greenwood or Rashford Ronaldo Sancho. Everyone else keeps their place except Pogba. In fact, I bet Pogba doesn't even make the bench. gotcha
    Pogba is suspended?

Funny feeling they are going to spank us 3-1 or 4-1.

Then again Norwich would probably beat us at this point

I want to see something completely different, I want ole to take over training and not leave it to Mckenna and Carrick who are obviously uncapable. I'm not saying he's not, but leaving it in their hands would show such ineptitude. For what it's worth conte can't come in soon enough but i'd like to see a 4-3-3.

    The usual defence with:

    Bruno ----Matic ---- VDB

    Cavani ---- Ronaldo --- Sancho

Like that it is not training too exhausting. It is that the training is too relaxed that players' skills and conditions become rusty.

Look at Lukaku. From slim to fat to slim again.

I think we'll win but I wonder what the response from the fans would be if we actually lose this game. Hopefully the "fine margins" are on our side this game.

Official fb account posted a pic titled 'hard work before saturday' or something along the lines.

    They work so hard.

They are equally as shit as us and also not likely playing for the manager.

Could be a draw even though how bad we are still could have scored 2-3 against Pool but you can’t help thinking we will concede 2-2 I’ll go for…

Superior individual quality should see us through, but I’m very concerned about Maguire. He looks unfit and should be dropped.

I'd drop De Gea, Maguire, AWB, Shaw and McT. I'd probably play Sancho over Greenwood as he works harder back the pitch.

    Henderson
    Dalot
    Varane (if fit)
    Lindelof
    Telles
    Fred
    Matic/Donny
    Bruno
    Sancho
    Ronaldo
    Rashford

None of this will happen and he'll probably start with the same 11 again.

These kind of interview should happen when you have turned a page and start putting some good performance. At this moment lots of game can also mean more games to be embarrassed.

After a bad performance like we had, shut up and avoid media. Win few games and then revisit this

For me, it's a bit irrelevant who starts for us. I don't think the players are the main issue.

If we start the Spurs game with our players running around like headless chickens, still doing this random 'pressing', I am giving up completely on this team.

We need to drop into our shape out of possession, be hard to play through and organised. Failure to do that will give Son all the freedom he wants and I don't want to watch the result of that.
