As our away form is not great and Watford is in a good form, I will go with a conservative 4-1 win instead of 4-0.

Watford's home form isn't that great, played 6, won 2, lost 2, draw 2. They also lost against Bristol City at home in League cup.

Saying that, their performance is very good in the games I have seen. Very physical but also good on the ball. Hopefully we don't play any passengers in the 11.

Think we will see one of bailly /jones play. Certainly not a game for Lindelof, who i think should play the champions league game before city out of the next 4 games. Jose has said, we had too many attackers on field against brighton so i do not see martial and rashford together unless Lukaku is suspended. Zlat wont start either.
    Something like this-
    -----------DDG------------
    Young---Jones--Rojo--Valencia
    -------Herrera-----Matic---------
    ------------Pogba----------------
    Rashford-----Lukaku-------mata/mkhi

    Looking for Eric
Rashford looked gassed on Saturday, and second half our midfield was poor and lacked composure. Pack the midfield and work on pressing the opposition in preparation for our next 2 league games.

If we beat Watford there would be posts like "It's Watford, lads. They were very poor and played bad. We can beat only poor teams like Watford".

No, with our current form i would be absolutely amazed beating them. Massive win that would be.

Watford is in a good form but watched them against Chelsea, they had very shaky defense in term of quality their defense aren't that good. They even conceded 3 goals against Everton after had 2-0 lead. I'm worry with their enthusiasm though. Watching them a few times this season and I must their players always works hard, stubborn, and give 100%. Our players need to well prepare mentally here and ready for the high press.

I think Watford will beat us, they are organised, quick, pass the ball well and have some flair scattered throughout the squad.

We currently look pedestrain, lazy and out of ideas.

Ohh sooo very optimistic, that is what is required!

Lads we might as well not turn up, as thee is just too much pessimism here.

Yeah, for me it's rather annoying we sent him on loan. I'd far rather Mensah play than quite a few of our players.
To be fair, last season he wasn’t as good as he was in 15/16. He needed game time regularly which he wouldn’t get here

Bailly and Jones still not available? Jose said before Bright game that Bailly might be available so I think he can be ready tomorrow,no?

This will be tough, but even by caf standards this seems a very pessimistic pre-match discussion. There's an argument to be made that a positive Watford may give us more chances to score than the likes of Brighton at OT. They are no great shakes defensively and, concerning though some of our offensive play has been of late, we have plenty to hurt them with.

As for Deeney yes he's messed us up in the past but he's a limited bully of a striker lacking in match fitness. We shouldn't be running scared of him.

Not looking forward to this. Then Arsenal at the weekend. Then City after that. Could be a bad few weeks.

Might sound a bit overboard, but if we drop points here I think the title charge is all about done. Horribe thing is that I think we will drop points.

He never got a chance last year.

    Fosu-Mensah is better than Darmian.

I don't think it's overboard, with Arsenal away after this win is our only option here. Anything else and we are done.

Going to be a hard game.

    Dave
    Val, Mike, Lindle, Rojo, Ash
    Matic, Pogs
    Mata
    Rom, Rash
That's an interesting formation, and one I'd like to see us try out. My only concern would be whether the legs of 30+ year olds Valencia and Young would survive this.. I'm basing this on the assumption that most of our width would be provided by them unless Rashford is given a free-roaming role upfront.

I think we will rest Valencia. He hasn't been playing more than 1 match a week and has already struggled last match. Hopefully, we go with Young on the right and Shaw on the left.

You mean you don't want to see the dream team that is Blind and Darmian?

This is the squad, if the Mirror are to be believed:

    Manchester United's squad:
De Gea, Romero, Pereira, Valencia, Young, Tuanzebe, Jones, Bailly, Darmian, Lindelof, Rojo, Smalling, Shaw, Blind, Pogba, McTominay, Matic, Herrera, Fellaini, Lingard, Mata, Mkhitaryan, Rashford, Ibrahimovic, Lukaku, Martial.

Definitely need to go for a more solid look in this one while still playing our best attacking players, I've seen a lot of Watford this season and while they're good going forward they are shocking at the back
