  1. All ticket/travel information thread - 2023/24 edition - Please be careful purchasing tickets

Hello, Am looking for a single ticket for the Bournemouth game on Jan 3. If anybody could help me, would be very grateful.
  2. Peter Schmeichel v Newcastle — when a keeper is a difference between triumph and humiliation

Excellent video. Even though I don’t have a VHS player, whenever house clear outs are happening that is going nowhere! He’s also done a Soccerbox episode with Gary Neville recently which is meant to be good though not been able to find just yet.
  3. Peter Schmeichel v Newcastle — when a keeper is a difference between triumph and humiliation

The Don Hutchison save is the one I think of when the ‘best ever’ convo comes up. Palace one is unbelievable but that was in the First Division so I accept that one.
  4. Peter Schmeichel v Newcastle — when a keeper is a difference between triumph and humiliation

sounds like the second one. Can’t remember whose header it was. Weirdly (in my opinion of course) at one stage I’m sure that was voted best ever PL save when it’s not even Schmeichel’s best save.
  5. David De Gea | 2022/23 Performances

Was thinking this, re Ten Hag. Thinking he must have seen the weaknesses in his game from his research but hoped he could blag his way through the season with all the other problems that needed solving. Also maybe doesn’t have the track record to do a Pep/Joe Hart. But what he showed yesterday...
  6. David De Gea | 2021/22 Performances

Was one point when ball bounced back into our box far enough to expect him to be out and deal with it and he was nowhere … stuck on his line and I think Lindelof ended up having to deal with it.
  7. U23s vs Chelsea

Second half Chelsea right back especially killed him a few times. Weird maybe as the goal was good but technically he looks a bit off, his passing and touch I mean. His ability to drive with the ball is good though of course.
  8. Which footballer peaked the highest?

Ronaldinho. At his peak, there can’t have been a clearer winner of the Ballon d’Or. Miles, miles, miles ahead of everyone.
  9. Declan Rice

    No.
  10. Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In

The Rangers element good and Jim Leighton stuff, way that all played out was not fully new but good still.
  11. No.1 for next season - De Gea or Henderson?

    Emiliano Martinez
  12. Danny Ings / signs for Villa

Exactly. Martial been exposed in a very short time by Cavani. No need to accept the mediocrity he offers up front. Play him left wing or not at all. Ings a significantly better striker than Martial.
  13. Danny Ings / signs for Villa

I can’t deal with that inconsistency and his flakiness
  14. Danny Ings / signs for Villa

I admire those who retain faith in Martial.
  15. Objectively, where do you rank David De Gea as a goalkeeper?

Mendy, Martinez, Pope, Ederson, Allison, Schmeichel ... all better than De Gea off the top of my head. Or, I’d prefer them in United’s goal rather than De Gea.
