I've posted after previous Newcastle defeats, quick search of my post history will show that. I logged in today to 3 notifications giving me grief for our tepid performance on Thursday which is absolutely fine as we deserved it. Newcastle fans have been through a decade of barely stringing two...
  2. Haha Newcastle

Surely if you can give it out you can take it back?
  3. Haha Newcastle

I mean the wink implied that I wasn't being fully serious, but to respond to your original point, the post you were replying to was comparing the performances of the two clubs and the different media perceptions. Newcastle may be capable of losing to "teams like Bournemouth" on our travels (or...
  4. Haha Newcastle

Frankly I'm astounded that this has come back to bite you. At least we only lose to teams like Bournemouth on our travels ;)
  5. Haha Newcastle

Massive gulf between the two teams based on this afternoon, can't quite believe....etc.
  6. Haha Newcastle

Without getting too deep into the whole "pashun" thing and clichés, the idea that Newcastle fans would stop supporting their club is mental to me. I grew up being able to see SJP from my window, attended matches with my dad from 5, who attended matches with his dad from young before that. The...

Without getting into whataboutery, surely you see the hypocrisy in the way Newcastle fans are treated compared to literally every other club, government, organisation or individual that deals with the Saudis daily? I'd imagine the commercial revenue the country generates from NUFC is currently...
  8. Haha Newcastle

I understand rival fans taking digs at our ownership, but I'm not sure how Manchester United fans can, considering you had a mutually beneficial "strategic partnership" directly with the sporting side of the Saudi government in the years prior to our takeover, which as far as I know may actually...
  9. Harry Maguire | 2023/24 Performances

Thought he was decent for you yesterday, but it's the ideal game for him. Players like Maguire look great when it's all last-ditch blocks and backs to the wall. It's when your team is playing further up the pitch that you notice their defects.
  10. Haha Newcastle

The league table doesn't lie as they say, but I'm sure I know which set of fans as are happier with their performances this season. By the table there's little between us, but if you look at performances and almost all performance related stats, there clearly is a gap. Re: champions league...
  11. Haha Newcastle

Bournemouth were the exception if anything. Since the start of last season we've only lost to teams outside of the "big six" three times - Brighton, Villa and Bournemouth.
  12. Haha Newcastle

Looks to me like the players aren't interested in playing for the manager. Last season you played with intensity, it was just completely non existent tonight. Considering how bare-bones we are and that the same players have played 3 games in a week with no subs, it's baffling how comfortable you...
  13. Anthony Gordon | Newcastle watch

Another important goal and dogged performance. Opposition fans relentlessly telling us we wasted £40m on him, yet he's well on his way to being our player of the season.
  14. Haha Newcastle

Massive gulf between the two teams based on the two games so far this season. Can't quite believe how bad Manchester United were tonight, compared to the cup final and old trafford game last season. The first 75 minutes were as easy a game as we've had at home probably since Spurs.
  15. Premier League Gameweek 14-16

Dortmund are perfectly set up to counter us. Quick, nimble players who are good on the ball. There aren't many teams in the premier league who play like them thankfully.
