  1. Fantasy Premier League 23/24

Thoughts on Gvaridol for 5.0? Will he play week one?
  2. RAWK Goes Into Meltdown - AMad year

If he has snubbed them then this is pure gold. Imagine them going back for Lavia now after pleading poverty and not being able/willing to match the £50m asking price... "Oh sorry, did we say he's yours for £50m? We meant £50m x 2"
  3. Fantasy Premier League 23/24

Thoughts on this please? Onana Trippier - Gabriel - Estupinan Mitoma - D.Luiz - Bruno - Martinelli - Eze Haaland - Kane Subs: Areola, Mings, Bell, Balogun (obv sold if he goes abroad)
  4. Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney | Wrexham AFC Watch

I am clearly in the minority here it seems, but I'm not seeing what's so bad about his statement. Certain Fergie said far worse back in the day on occassion. He's speaking right after the game, and if you watch the video the second half of this is in direct response to the question "Has the...
  5. Evan Ferguson

Surely we could (and should?) argue the same for Højlund? In a perfect world neither of these would be being seen as the new starting forward for us. Both still have plenty to prove and both represent a gamble. That said, I'd rather the lad who is showing it in the PL all things being equal.
  6. Evan Ferguson

Why would Brighton want to loan back a player and impact the development of their own players? They're not some League 1 club in need of a crumb of quality from the PL. Never going to happen.
  7. Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney | Wrexham AFC Watch

I grew up in Chester, so can't profess to have any love at all for Wrexham AFC, but these days I work in Wrexham and the impact they have had on the town (now city) is immense. A few years back it was one of the most depressing, bleakest towns out there and the future looked downright sad. Now...
  8. Club Sale | It’s done!

Alright John Fashnu (one for my fellow oldies).
  9. Injury prone strikers - Who would have been best if they had just stayed fit? Martial? Saha?

The problem with Saha was his injury record. The problem with Martial is his injury record. And his inconsistency. And his lackadaisical attitude. Saha was comfortably the better player for me.
  10. Fred | 2022/23 Performances

5ft 7 Fred, isn't outjumping 5ft 10 Schlupp in a standing jump for a header... He's tried to make it harder by applying pressure to Schlupp by leaning in and made the (fair) decision to see if he can control then try to nick it if he manages. I mean, it's unbelievably harsh to criticize Fred on...
  11. Transfer Tweets - 2019/20 | Check the OP for blacklisted sources before posting

Jesus wept, the amount of whinging going on in this thread! The people complaining about @Fridge chutney are far, far more annoying than anything he has shared. If I’m not mistaken (new time poster but looong time lurker) this is the transfer tweets thread, and FC is posting transfer tweets...
  12. Harry Maguire | Signed

I'm a fan of ol'slabhead's but £70m is an incredible price to pay. If Leicester really want £90m then it really is a sign the world has gone mad. Ignoring the "would he even want to come" issue (a fair question) and taking pricing with a healthy pinch of salt, if reports are to be believed for...
