Watching Elanga come along is fantastic to watch. For me, it's a similar thrill when I think back to Rashford, Greenwood, McTominay come along the past few years. Certain moments in games he's just electric ... catches defenders off with this turn of pace. Hope he keeps building on this...

I really hope he kicks on at West Ham. There was a period when he went on that scoring run for Birmingham City when on loan that I thought he could become a mainstay for us in a contributing role (like O'Shea, Fletcher, Fortune), and maybe even push for a starting spot. Hasn't worked out since...

He's been good. Obviously not a typical long term signing. but his fitness and attitude should stretch his contributions beyond his current term. To an extent, I think he's also mentoring our younger forwards by his performance on the pitch in terms of stretching play, making runs into the box, etc.

Don't think it was a foul by either. That it was standard technique for a goalie when going for a high/bouncing ball...push out a knee to protect himself. That the foul was given to the germans is typical of how ref's given the goalie benefit of doubt.
