  1. Alexis Sanchez | Done deal

When they lose the ball high up the pitch they make a cynical foul, no apologies. They'll only get properly found out if refs are prepared to make bookings.
  2. Players you were right and wrong about

You're not far wrong about the Rooney CM thing IMO. I always thought the closer he played to Scholesy the better. They could do anyone!
  3. Theme Music at Old Trafford Pre-Game

Agreed. On a par with the joker who suggested we play in red shorts. I would like a more stirring post match tune, a la Real or Barca.
  4. Utd concerned that Jose will resign in May

Back the manager. We're Man United. Whining about managers and booing your own team is small time.
  5. Lack of acknowledgement of progress is grating

They can have their records - they can't have the treble!
  6. Lack of acknowledgement of progress is grating

I would completely echo that. We are one (genuinely) world class player away from being able to challenge City - I firmly believe that, although if some of the current crop would develop leadership qualities that would be even better!
  7. United in red shorts (yay, nay or Eboue?)

The red shorts idea is a non starter. Red shirt, white/ black shorts, black/ white socks; White shirt, black/white shorts, white socks; All blue. That was all she wrote.
  8. Mourinho's comments on Scholes

Right on. Scholes is my favourite player from my time watching United. He's a pundit now so fair game. Jose gave respect to the footballer but rubbished the pundit. Back the shirt Scholesy!
  9. It has happened under every manager since Fergie left...

Monte you're spot on. No misfits there. Leaders! Who's our leader on the pitch?
  10. It has happened under every manager since Fergie left...

You're wrong on all three of those players. They are all good players and on best form would be starters. Blind's best position is problematic but he passes the ball well enough to play at this level. Also reads the game. Mkhitaryan is not a wide left player. How the fans who turn up at OT to...
  11. If....

The quality of the youth is of little importance if you don't have leaders on the pitch. That could be more experienced players or younger players. We used to have Keane and G Neville in the team for example. Can't see anyone at the club who wants to develop into that role.
  12. Oliver holt : Woodward, Glazers and the crippling Lack of Vision that is hobbling united

Agree with your first paragraph. Don't know about the personal resentment bit. I do think Woodward's a lightweight in transfer dealing and do believe CL qualification is good enough for the Glazer money machine to keep rolling in the medium term. Back Jose, back the shirt and let's lift the...
  13. Back Mourinho this window, he's improved us, won trophies & is still rebuilding

Big agreement here. We need leadership on the field - is that down to individuals failing to take responsibility or a coaching staff who fail to develop leadership qualities in players? I'd say it's the former.
  14. Carragher article in The Telegraph

I agree with the first part. But City have a couple of players playing out of their skins at the moment. Credit where credit is due - they're good to watch and on an amazing run just now. That puts our improvement in the shade. But they are incredibly cynical when they lose the ball, but don't...
  15. Lukaku defending set pieces is an absolute menace!

No, first priority has to be anyone who's done their groin (ahem - sorry Smalling) to be well away from our box!
