While I totally agree on your point, I doubt that the DFL will agreed to count Hoeneß and Hainer as a single player in regard of fielding 11 players.

Tuchel was asking for a defensive minded central midfielder that could hold the ball under pressure the whole summer. But Hoeneß decided that with Laimer there are enough central midfielders in the squad.

Hideous away kits have been a thing for Bayern since at least the early 90ies. I think this is one of the better ones among the hideous ones.

Of course not. But his brain fecks are probably part of being in terrible form. It's not like most of his mistakes are due to being slower or less physical able than he was in past but mostly bad decision making. That's why I think he might recover and become reliable again.

Neuer was out due to an injury for almost the whole last season. Right now you will hardly find any Bayern fan who would claim Neuer being world class. Let's see if he gets back in form next season or if he's really past it..

I think this is something that FIFA and the FAs should consider in future. Rules in detail kept changing on a regular basis in the recent years. Often it felt like that especially hand ball rules were changed after each season. With the introduction of VAR there are now new options to decide if...

I'm not denying that one. But I feel like chances are bigger that the tactics or a lack of those would be the reason for issues with the squad, not the workload of the training sessions.
