  1. Jose's interview - "Wish to sign 2 more players"

Why aren't we trying to offload players like Rojo, Jones, and Darmian first? And I find it rather odd that Jose is prioritizing a new CB over fullbacks. Valencia was so horrible going forward last season that I think if we aren't signing anyone new, we should really put our faith in Dalot.
  2. Yaya Touré: "I want to destroy the Pep myth" (France Football interview)

What's the point of going to media about this matter? It will just pain Toure as a bitter and spineless individual. Really reminds me of the political shit storm in my country where the cronies only dare to speak up against the leaders of the previously ruling party after they lost power. I...
  3. Is Fred enough to fix our midfield?

Our midfield with Fred looks fine. What makes our midfield look clueless is the lack of movement from the front three and the chief culprit being Sanchez. They rather hold their runs or drop deep to receive a simple pass. When there's such poor movement upfront, the midfield can only do so much.
  4. Let’s sign Gareth Bale

It won't happen since the PL FFP rules will forbid this. We are allowed to increase our wage by 7m each year. Bale's 600k p/w equates to 30m a year. At 250k p/w, it stills goes way above the cap.
  5. Let’s sign Gareth Bale

Real tried to sell us Morata for 75m before selling him to Chelsea for 60m. If we go in for Bale, expect to pay 100m. I think our funds are better spent elsewhere. We have much pressing concerns at LB, RB, CM, CB. No point spending half of our budget on a player who barely stays fit.
  6. Toby Alderweireld

It was a back four on paper. When we attacked, both fullbacks moved up and Ander went back and form a back three. That's also why we saw Jones being positioned where he was before he conceded the penalty - on the far left.
  7. Fredge | Deal done

Those passes from the clip shared by VancouverFan looks sublimed since there are players who actually make off the ball movements. Sadly, the only players doing off the ball movements are Lingard and Lukaku. If we do not sort out our offensive line, starting with Sanchez, the purchase of Fred...
  8. Toby Alderweireld

Mourinho changes his shape from a back four to a back three every time he goes up against Conte.
  9. Toby Alderweireld

If we are buying this lad and not selling either one of Jones and Smalling, there's a possibility that we could be playing a back three for some stretches next year. If that's the case, there's a possibility Pogba might be dropped when we revert to a back three. However, considering Conte is...
  10. Anthony Martial | 2017/18 Performances

Ferguson has played the likes of Park and O'Shea ahead of more talented players like Nani and Berba. Are you implying that Park and O'Shea are his pets as well? The reason why the likes of Lukaku and Matic plays is because despite them having a off day, they still work hard and contribute to...
  11. Jose Mourinho | 2017/18 Assessments | Poll Added

How is he a one trick pony when he has switched between formations to get the best of our players? We played a 4-2-2-2 against Chelsea this year and won the game. Is that not innovation in the midst of a hectic season? We have played with 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3, 4-2-2-2 and a few times 3-5-2 this...
  12. Matic transfer comment

Let's not cherry pick statistics to suit our own narrative. Luke Shaw has been criticized by three different managers on how he manages himself. However, when Mourinho comes in, he's the one not giving him chances. Mourinho has played him in a couple of games but the performance by Shaw was...
  13. 5 or less statements, you stand by, that most of the caf would not agree with you on

    1. Alexis Sanchez is past it. 2. A RB is much more important than a LB. 3. Lingard is overrated and doesn't bring much to us bar the few goals. 4. The player's social media life style influences their performance on the pitch. 5. Mourinho should hand the duty of managing young players to...
  14. José looking to sign 6 players in summer - 2CM, LB, RB, W, CB [Times]

I don't see us signing 4 players, yet alone 6. Assuming we are signing 6 players, with each costing 50m, that's going to take our spending to 300m. Do you see us forking out that kind of money? Some of the names quoted here would definitely cost more than 50m. I think 4 would be an idealistic...
  15. Are we a better team with Alexis?

This man has messed up whatever little attacking structure we had and affected the confidence of our younger players. He no longer have the pace to get behind defenders, his passing is wayward and rarely comes off, he loses the ball way too frequently when we attack, which we seldom do...
