Yes the pic was real. I was sat 3 rows behind them. There was a small scuffle that broke out with a lady who tried to take the flag from the guys holding it up but they got their flag back from her.
Have a business commitment late on Friday and meeting up with a friend who lives in London Friday night that I haven't seen in years. Also, according to Avanti the strike is for Friday and Saturday so wouldn't get a train in any event
Well according to Avanti the trains on the Sunday 14th won't be affected. In fact, I already have a ticket for it. Wanted to experience the train ride and see the country side and all that. Would be a bummer if there's no trains the Sunday too.
I'm sitting with a huge conundrum. I was planning on taking a train from London to Manchester on Saturday 13th May for the Wolves match. I'm from South Africa so not familiar with all the available travel options. With the rail strikes it seems I might not get a train.
I was looking at a flight...
Bugger. At least there's still a chance but I will be in a pickle if trains aren't available for that day. I've setup a notification on Avanti for an alert. Which are the other major operators for London to Manchester?
I take it bus is the only alternative if trains don't work out?
I need some help. So I'm going to the Wolves match on the 13th. Am traveling from London to Manchester to attend. However, I can't seem to find any trains available. Would all the trains already be sold out or are the railway strikes I've read about affecting train availability or is there...
Thanks for that mate. Either way, it's my one in a lifetime opportunity to see Utd live at Old Trafford. I've seen preseason matches live in Cape Town, South Africa but that doesn't beat a EPL match at Old Trafford. So essentially, I absolutely have to get a ticket for that match
Thanks mate.
Some of the other options are these ticket on selling websites (reliable ones of course). A friend of mine used one before and it checked out, just a bit pricey. Someone else also recommended the hospitality-type tickets but again, price is an issue for those.
