Apologies if this should be in the general, but if anyone has a youtube link to Nev and Carra's analysis of our game could they PM me or post it here if that's allowed...?

I really wanna see it and I missed the show.

Thanks in advance if you can help.

I'd be interested in this too. In fact, is there a site where you can watch all of Nev's analysis?

One of the best analyses I've seen them do. LVG is some manager.

It was great. I was worried beforehand they'd focus more on how poor they thought City were so it was nice to see them mainly focus on how good we were.

Carragher comparing us to Barca

Someone will probably ask on Twitter whether they think Pellegrini should/will be sacked so I imagine they're saving that until later.

Yeah that's true, they did say they'd be talking about it more after the game.

To me its a bit fitting narrative to what they've seen. If United lost they would be choosing examples of bad play from the exact same footage. They had a go at the QPR defender for not looking at the ball during goal kicks, saying you're taught to always keep your eyes on the ball.
My Dad pointed out that next week he'd be complaining of a player ball watching in the exact same scenario. It sounds better than what it is.

Yeah that can be an issue it you're focusing too much on one moment. When a goal is conceded, you can always say that any of the defenders could do better. 20/20 hindsight. Both Neville and Carragher had a few dodgy moments as does every defender.

I don't like Neville any more at all, he sounds like a closet City fan. The things he says about City challenging FFP (They ain't got no chance anyway) is embarrassing. He talks about wanting the league to be more competitive but it was much more competitive and enjoyable under the traditional top 4 teams. I know I'm completely biased but anyone speaking in favour of these plastic oil run clubs can do one.

Damn, forgot to watch the pre-game analysis. Someone always puts a link on reddit for those looking for a place to watch it later (maybe have to wait until tomorrow, not sure).

Watching it really did make me appreciate how well our football has grown over the past few months. I know people are quick to sack managers these days but when you see one who has clear philosophy its easier to stick with them

I think it's more how he doesn't actually understand FFP and how it works. Either that or he just wants to be controversial.

Interesting bit about Wazza by Gary. He pretty much sums up his performance as godly because of his off the ball work and discipline, but that is a typical performance by RVP...

RVP is nowhere near as mobile as Rooney anymore.

Yes but that's not what Neville was going on about. It was highlighting his decision making and discipline off the ball rather than his headless chicken mobility. I just found it odd how godly he made it look coming from Rooney yet RVP does it effortlessly.

Which is why it's not surprising that LVG likes RVP. Throughout the early part of the season, when RVP was favoured, he was making all those kinds of runs. The reason it didn't work that well is that all the other players around him weren't playing to the same tune, imo.

This Rooney display came in the arguably our best game this season when RVP displays were in the games when we were shit. It is no use if the striker makes space when there is nobody to take advantage of it.
