I'd be more interested in knowing where the £272 million of our money that was used to provide west ham with a stadium went. No way on earth the conversion cost that.
What has actually changed? The colours of the seats and the running track covered up and a lick of paint.

West Ham United - the first team to ever move to a new stadium, ever. If you believe Sky!

They haven't shown all the scaffolding yet.

I hate that stadium, it looks brilliant visually but the fans are too far away from the pitch which means the atmosphere suffers plus it's too big for West Ham loads of empty seats. It's not what I like from a football stadium.

As much as it pains me to get into cliches, the fans really are too far from the pitch. I'm somewhat curious about what they'll think of it when they've really settled in.

I'm never a fan of transforming olympics stadiums into football arenas but this is one of the better ones. The fans aren't as close as they should be but this was inevitable, it's better than most other ones easily.

shows the media bias to certain players, when I've seen Drinkwater play that same ball loads of times but it gets labelled lumping it forward for Vardy to chase
I haven't watched him so I can't judge, but you've really seen Drinkwater spraying 40-50 yard inch perfect passes with spin to slow the ball at the right moment after only a single controlling touch?

Upton Park was an intimidating ground.

If i was a oppo player I know which ground i'd rather play at. You wont be able to hear any cockney insults with them being that far away.

I get what he's saying. Most of the time the Olympic stadia are converted they're left with the track and the fans are well off the field.

2 off the top of my head...
Stadio Olympico - Roma/Lazio
Olympiastadion - Herta Berlin

Yep, the bigger teams will be delighted with this stadium

They weren't converted into football stadia though. Problem is retractable stands always cause these problems, the Saint Denis is better but the fans aren't close to the pitch either. City's ground was always going to be football ground but London's didn't have that luxury which is why they're stuck with a hybrid stadium that doesn't really work as a football ground.

Said it before, I reckon this is the season when everything returns to normal and the "old" top4 (with Citeh instead of Pool) reestablishes itself as a notch above all the surprise teams.

Actually Tottenham might tip Arse, but that is about as big an upset we will get this season.

Developed a strong dislike for David Gold, the fecking garden gnome, after he tried to brush over WH's chavvy fans attacking our bus last season.

Yep. Really can't be doing either of them to be honest but you generally hear and see more from Gold. And not just because Sullivan is about 3 foot 4!
