Super penalty from Vidal.
First two were top drawer. Vidal's especially.Brilliant penalties from Chile so far.
If we going to keep him then don’t play him as a winger because he isn’t one anymore. Put him as striker or don’t play him.Alexis in NT looks waaaaaaaaaaay better than in United. No idea why is it such a huge difference. Either he loves his country too much or he's too annoyed by something in Manchester.
I wonder if he can do this for us if we don't offload him somewhere which I don't think will happen
So, in the case of a Brazil-Chile final, whom would you be rooting for?Brazil are gonna beat us for sure.
I just hope Chile doesn't win.
We just about beat them without Vidal. Our midfield missed Vecino badly and Torreira is also injured, meaning all the remaining ones have an inclination to push forward rather than sit and do the dirty work.I think Uruguay would beat Chile again in the semi finals.
None of both but it would piss me off less if Brazil winsSo, in the case of a Brazil-Chile final, whom would you be rooting for?
Nope. Suarez is past it and our midfield is off balance. Very imprecise.Uruguay aren’t good at all
It's the right way to play us. We are terrible if we have to take the initiative.I'm surprised at how good Peru have been defensively. Gareca was always an attack-minded coach, but the past couple of years have shown a more pragmatic side of his that I never expected. I guess that Brazil loss has made him take a cautious approach against a cautious Uruguay side.
They can easily have created more opportunities on the counter, but they barely push up. They've generally played at a slower pace as well, preferring to be more deliberate in possession and less willing to take risks.
Definitely. I can still see Uruguay scoring first as Peru's midfield isn't good at tracking the runners and their full backs aren't that good defensively. It's the right way to play us. We are terrible if we have to take the initiative.

He's been playing as a left full/wing back for the past few years. Tabarez prefers Caceres at that role, which is why we haven't seen much of him.Isn't Laxalt a DM? He's had a solid career in Italy so surprised he isn't starting with these injury issues.
Caceres had such an odd but interesting career, signed for Villareal in 2007 but never played. Then Barcelona picked him up and he played 13 times over 3 seasons (in fairness this was their peak Pep side). Has been on loan at Juventus on three seperate occasions. Also made one appearance for Southampton in 2017.He's been playing as a left full/wing back for the past few years. Tabarez prefers Caceres at that role, which is why we haven't seen much of him.
That Southampton stint is particularly intriguing. He was brought in but never played when I felt that he could have contributed something. He's another one of those players who has a stellar international career yet an underwhelming club one.Caceres had such an odd but interesting career, signed for Villareal in 2007 but never played. Think he wanted to return to Italy. He has had some terrible injuries in his career aswell looking at his bio. That Southampton stint is particularly intriguing. That's even closer than the Cavani one, who I thought was also onside even after the review.Suarez looked onside to me.
That Brazil-Venezuela match was the worst example of VAR. This match is coming very close to it.WTF? 3 goals disallowed? THREE!!!!
