Word of warning for Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. The walking speed is ridiculously slow. Even with the "sprint" button. Drove me nuts

Some of my current games:

Fifa 20- goes without saying
Hitman- good game but there’s a part that I’m stuck on
Grim fandango- really good game if you like adventure-story kind of games
Assassins creed odyssey- started it and it’s pretty good but have leant it to a friend at the moment
Detroit become human- pretty cool
Bully- Originally a ps1 game but it’s called something else on the ps4, it’s a Latin phrase I believe, but yeah good game haven’t finished it though
SpiderMan- again, good adventure game
COD- goes without saying
I was wondering about that Detroit game. What kind of game is it?

It’s one of those ones where there’s dialogue and you can choose different options for different outcomes of the storyline

If you've played Heavy Rain or Until Dawn (or know of those games), it's one of those. Basically a third-person, interactive storyline type game. Lots of quick time events, etc. Very little traditional gameplay involved.

Just recently played through the entirety of Skyrim again and now doing Fallout 4, both on PC heavily modded which makes the experience that much better.

Got FFXV lined up for a second play through too alongside some FM20 and BFV.

Wow some great feedback here. Is it because the games themselves aren't great or just that I should be able to find them cheaper?
FO4 is not that great, so it means really I'd be paying a fair chunk of change for an aging Skyrim that I couldn't mod because it wasn't PC. I don't see the value there.

Like, if you've waited this long to play Skyrim you could just pick it up for less later and not worry that you're missing anything in FO4.

Yeah I'll stand pat on this one. I got the Bioshock collection through PS Plus, so I've got those 3 to work through. I started with Infinity (by mistake, thought I was choosing the first one,) but am really liking it so far (despite not usually liking first person shooters.)

A bit like those Telltale games. Point and click types with many different paths to take based on your decisions. Very good game though.

I'm confused between Outer Worlds, Outer Wilds and Resident Evil 2. I'm thinking one of the first 2 as I already have Nioh and Monster Hunter as my 'intense' games.
If you enjoy a puzzle/mystery game play The Outer Wilds. It's a brilliantly designed game. The less you know going into it the better though.

Skyrim is a fun game worth playing but after Witcher 3 it might feel a bit irritating to wait for 20 seconds each time you walk into a house. And it's a bit clunkier. But overall I loved the game, but I'm glad I played it before Witcher 3.

I played about 1520 hours of fallout 4 but got bored and found it too difficult. If I loved the game i would try harder but I just can't be bothered.

Ok, need some new recommendations. Metal Gear Solid V: yay or nay?
So I really picked up MGS V. Pretty fun game, but it is beyond annoying and pretentious how it rolls credits after every mission. I get it: this Kojima dude wrote and directed it. Other than that, I'm enjoying it (hated the prologue though).

I've been playing 7 Days To Die all day every day in preparation for the forthcoming zombie apocalypse. Played the vanilla until about day 50, started getting a bit bored, and decided to start playing the Darkness Falls mod, which has reignited my enthusiasm. It really is a fantastic game.

If you're into grand strategy games Stellaris is a good one to sink your teeth into. You can kill hours on that and it's available on console now as well.

I've started playing Mass Effect Andromeda. The Character's facial animations are laughable but the combat is pretty good, and the planets/galaxy look amazing. I'm assuming they patched the hell out of it following the messy release.

Andromeda is a pretty good game. Not as good as the original trilogy but still good fun. It got a really unjustified rough time at release because of all those facial animation memes and because... EA.

Yeah based on what I've played so far I've enjoyed it. Good combat and great graphics with a somewhat interesting story. The crew doesn't compare to the original trilogy but that was to be expected I guess.

If you like Sci Fi / Space / moon stuff - I can wholeheartedly recommend Deliver us the moon.

Great storytelling and soundtrack. Not the most intricate gameplay but very good nonetheless and very tense and powerful at times. Loved every second, about 10 hours worth of play. Ending is very difficult though but we’ll worth the effort.

I started playing Stellaris again on Xbox. They just put a huge update out making it more like the PC version.

Speaking of sci fi space stuff i played through Homeland Remastered recently. Never played it when released, so was going in fresh.
Liked it a lot, great soundtrack, interesting story thats kept pretty thin on details so you have to fill in a lot of blanks yourself, which i quite liked. It was a fun and interesting take on the RTS genre just by adding the 3rd dimension and it still feels fresh and different due to that (i dip into the genre every so often maybe there were a pile of copycats at some point? Felt fresh to me). Some of the later missions were a bit shit and annoying tbh, they were quite picky and it kind of railroaded you into playing them a very specific way but i enjoyed it all the same.
If anyones looking for a new RTS i'd recommend it highly

shadow of the colossus remastered is dirt cheap on PSN store right now. Really awesome game.
